"Desperate Housewives" Cancelled

I always thought that Marc Cherry, the creator of the show, had always insisted that DH was only going to run for 7 or 8 season anyway. And based on what I saw of DH the last several years, the writers are starting to run out of ideas anyway, so why not end after this year. There are a lot of shows in TV history that seem to run for a couple of seasons too long.

Personally, I think "Perfect Strangers" was on the air for about eight or nine seasons longer than it should have been. :D

...maybe it'll end up on NFL Network - wasn't there that one episode where one of the housewives dropped their towel at Terrell Owens? ::)

That was the opening to a broadcast of "Monday Night Football" when it was still presented by ABC.

Gotcha. Thanks!

With the cancellation of "Desperate Housewives" after next season, could that mean when Easter/Passover 2013 rolls around "The Ten Commandments" will return to having its annual showing air on Easter Sunday (or some years Palm Sunday) rather than being relegated to the Saturday night before Easter?

does anybody really want to see a 58-year old Teri Hatcher throwing herself at men? ???

Not really, but I wouldn't mind seeing Eva Longoria do her thing for a few more more years. :p

GOD DAMN she is one sexy woman.

She's probably popular and young enough to get in movies (she starred in a few), though I don't think she is a great actress. More looks than acting capability from what I've seen. Felicity Huffman, that starred in the "Transamerica", just seems to be a better actress. Either of the two have atleast somewhat of a movie career.

I could see Teri Hatcher and Marcia Cross sticking in TV, on commercials and guest star appearances for other dramas or perhaps sitcoms. Perhaps Teri would guest star on ABC's 'Body of Proof' or 'Castle' with fellow DH stars Dana Delany and Nathan Fillion.

DH was getting stale - with repetitive storylines around Bree and Gabrielle. The DH writers made a dumb mistake jumping the storyline by 5 years but then not being able to use that jump to much benefit.

ABC has a number of drama-soaps like"Pan Am" scheduled for the Fall. CBS is also moving "The Good Wife" to Sunday nights right against "Desperate Housewives", and that likely appeals to some of the same audience.

If she's still hot, then by all means the answer is yes!
I don't remember how long ago, but I think she was single and looking to date again and she put on makeup and did something to her hair and went out with one of the gay guys to a bar and she was SMOKING. She still looks good just normal.
