DFW Talk Radio

Thanks Ad Guy. It is very laughable. If you listen you can hear bad editing with canned interviews ,TRYING to make it appear as though she was interviewing the individuals. Maybe she is trying to be another" "A.Huffington". I am sure Dan thinks shes up there with Larry King, and Barbara Walters. I can't wait for her "Oscar Interviews".;)

The only talk radio host worth a damn was Phil Hendrie. He poked fun at these shows, and he was damn funny. Its too bad he doesn't do a talk show anymore.

Phil Hendrie was the most talented/creative/entertaining talk show host I've ever heard.

I completely concur VOX. How Hedrie was able to keep track of those 3 and 4 voice character conversations with "himself" was amazing. He pulled it off so well many listeners didn't realize it was all a bit.

How in the world can we get Hendrie back on the air. I concur; the guy's a bonafied radio genius and we all know that kind of talent really doesn't exist anymore. Is there a fan base that can get to him?

His website is at www.philhendrieshow.com. You can get mp3s of dozens of his bits there if you join. I joined for a while and saved bunch of them. There is also a newsgroup: alt.fan.phil-hendrie. Currently not very active, though.

I thought Phil had left talk to pursue a sitcomm acting gig on NBC's Teachers (which flopped)...pulled this off his Wiki page.

In early 2006, it was announced that he would be ending The Phil Hendrie Show, feeling he'd reached the limits of what he could do in "terrestrial talk radio". Barring an appropriate offer from either of the two satellite radio companies, Hendrie expects to shift his career focus to acting. His last radio broadcast was June 23, 2006. [1] On December 4, 2006, in a radio interview, he mentioned that he may soon be returning to radio, but the show will not include his character skits.
