Diamond Sports loses another team.

If Adell sells WADL, the only ones that will get it are either a godcaster (most likely TCT) or someone who will turn in the license and receive money from it.
That window is well closed prior the repack.
They could use the Wild as a experiment to see if a Scripps former-ion-turned-indie station without an duopoly partner could do well. They could use stuff from Scripps News for their News coverage or they do a agreement with an existing station to do their news just like what KPXM did back in the early 2000's with KARE. But syndication shows might be a problem.
Nothing is the same as back in the early 2000's. That's especially true when it comes to advertising on traditional media. Nobody is in a position to experiment with some hair-brained mishmash of LMA's carriage of competitors' news programming, or expensive sports contracts. Everyone is hunkering down and trying to conserve cash as best they can.

Especially when no one in traditional media has any idea whether the advertising will ever come back, or even if what we're seeing right now represents the bottom rather than being a way station on the road to zero.

It's appears that the Minnesota Twins might be leaving Bally Sports North and launch their own channel. If Bally Sports North terminate the Twins, them the Wild and the Timberwolves need to leave too and find their TV channel. Rumors said that the Wild would end up with Scripps Sports but where the Timberwolves end up? Hubbard?

the twins started their own network victory sports one in 2004 but it only lasted a month
it actually lasted 6 months. Started in October 2003 with college and high school sports. Yes the Twins lasted a month on it due to nobody big carrying it. Smaller cable companies carried it but the big one balked at the price

Rumor: Scripps Sports and CBS could have a joint agreement with the Pistons and Red Wings, but nothing is an official yet. Scripps owns WXYZ, which is an ABC affiliate and WMYD, which is about to drop the CW on September 1st and headed back to an independent station, while CBS owned WWJ and it's independent station WKBD could be making an official announcement within the next few weeks. If the deal is reach, here are the following games that the 2 teams will be carrying on a daily basis:

WMYD
Monday: Pistons
Tuesday: Red Wings
Wednesday: Pistons
Thursday: Red Wings
Friday: Pistons
Saturday: Red Wings (Saturday afternoons only expect for national games can be seen on their sister station); Pistons (some Saturday nights expect for national games)
Sunday: Pistons (1st 3 months of the NBA season); Red Wings (last 3 months of the NHL season)

Note: Any Tuesday and Thursday night Red Wings games are scheduled to be appearing on ESPN or ESPN+ won't be airing on WMYD and any Wednesday and Friday night Pistons games that are scheduled to be simulcast on ESPN and WMYD. Also, any Sunday Red Wings games that are scheduled to be appearing on TNT during the the last several weeks of the NHL season, will be appearing on WMYD.

WKBD
Monday: Red Wings
Tuesday: Pistons
Wednesday: Red Wings
Thursday: Pistons
Friday: Red Wings
Saturday: Red Wings (Saturday night only expect for national prime time games)
Sunday: Red Wings (1st half), Pistons (2nd half)

Note: Any Tuesday and Thursday night Pistons games and any Wednesday night Red Wings games that are scheduled to appearing on TNT, will not be airing on WKBD as well as any Sunday afternoons Pistons games.

Also WMYD will be airing home preseason games and WKBD will be airing road preseason games for both of the teams. WMYD will air road playoff games and WKBD will air home playoff games for the first round of the both the NBA and NHL playoffs. If the deal reach, it expect to be 6 years and it can run through the 2029-2030 NHL and NBA season.

The countdown to the bankruptcy hearing for Diamond Sports is just 10 days away and next week, we are expecting more sports teams to leave Bally Sports. Could the Minnesota Twins be next in line to ditches Bally sports?

Are the Pistons and/or the Red Wings might be next in line to drop out of Bally Sports by somepoint this week?
Its appears that Bally Sports might be losing dozens of major sports teams (They could lose several NBA teams and a few more NHL teams by this week)
Projected NBA and NHL teams could be getting drop out this week:
Miami Heat
Dallas Mavericks
San Antonio Spurs (TV rights will return to Tegna)
Minnesota Timberwolves
Detroit Pistons
Orlando Magic
Atlanta Hawks
Minnesota Wild
Anaheim Ducks (Their contract was expired after their conclusion of 2023-2024 NHL season)
Detroit Red Wings

It appears, based on what? If they lose 24 (the minimum to qualify as "dozens") there would be little left for the bankruptcy court to preserve. By my count, Bally only has the rights to 34 teams in the 3 main leagues they televise (MLB, NBA, NHL).

I know, right? What a strange thing to wish for.

Add to the list:
Tampa Bay Lightning
Atlanta Braves
Texas Rangers
Cleveland Guardians
Cleveland Cavaliers
Columbus Blue Jackets
Minnesota Twins
Detroit Tigers
Los Angeles Clippers (TV Rights return to Nexstar [if they renew the team])
Los Angeles Kings (TV Rights return to Paramount/CBS)

They will be join the Florida Panthers and Dallas Stars to exit Bally Sports.
And among that group, Paramount is being sold, Fox doesn't do local sports in any way, Graham has no duopoly partner, and Adell is going to lose his station in Chapter 7.

That leaves Scripps by default. And they will be dumping the CW from WMYD so they definitely have the room for more than one team, so they'll assuredly get both the Pistons and Red Wings.
Paramount owns 2 stations in Detroit, same thing as Scripps.

Good Lord.

i can see the Mavs & Rangers going to Victory+ with a few games airing on OTA TV in Dallas, and for the Mavs, most likely more local games on WFAA, and the Rangers may reunite with KDFW/KDFI to air games on there with Fox Sports graphics being used.
