There’s a great group of listeners trying to get Dick Rossette back on The End. Do you think Entercom will ignore this and hope it goes away or indeed give the listeners what they want?

Ummmm 400 people ::) I can think of lots of words that describe that following, but impressive was not on the list... That kind of ground swell might acually get a chuckle from folks around the water cooler at Entercom Seattle, add a couple zero's on it and you might get some legit attention.

Isn’t 400 right on target for The End with the way their producing numbers nowadays anyway?

After listening to Lazlo, I understand why people don’t want him on the air, He and his wife sound like 40 year olds trying to act like 20 year olds.

If KFNK and KISW have afternoon team shows, why would KNDD add another afternoon team show? Wouldn’t it be better to give listeners an alternative to talk, it is a music station after all.

I think this is dead on. Their schtick may come off as edgy and controversial in more conservative markets... but here I think a lot of people who tune in for awhile just come away with: ".... and ... what's your point?"

I thought he would bring a nice change, but everything I've seen has been a non-starter or downright harmful. Oh, except bringing back NoName.

Do listeners really want Dick back? This is the second time he's been canned by the end. I was puzzled when they brought him back. I never liked him when he was on weekends. I never liked him when he replaced Brian Beck in the evenings, and I rejoiced when he replaced Kim Monroe in the middays because I wouldn't have to listen to him as often.

All that being said, I don't really like Lazlo's show, either.

I like what Lazlo has done with the music on the End. It sounds really good right now (though I could use a little less Regina Spektor). But his show is odd. I think it'd be better in the mornings, where there would be more time to develop personality. Hopefully, Carolla will continue to tank, and he'll be gone sooner than later, allowing Lazlo to move to the mornings.
 
I’m assuming they’re planning to move Lazlo to the mornings once they can dump Carolla, which is fine because listeners are already used to not listening to KNDD in morning drive anyway.
 
Show me the myspace page for "Thankgodtheyfireddickagain" and I'm sure you'll have just as many supporters.

I listen to Adam Carolla faithfully. No Name is okay, but I can't stand and therefore don't listen to Lazlo. Is it me, or does it sounds like he's eating something when he's talking?

I was pretty stunned when I first heard him that he has a "rocks in the mouth" type voice.
 
Lazlo did GREAT in KC @ The Buzz. That's why he's in Seattle. - Is Seattle the place where he's going to do best? I doubt it. But I wish him well.....

Didn’t the Marconi show do GREAT in Portland too, and that’s why they moved them to Seattle?

Lazlo sounds more like he has pennies in his mouth. He gives a nasty copper tint when his voice hits the ears.
 
Apparently Lazlo feels he has an excellent jock voice and that others on air pale in comparison. Word has it that he is sending his night guy to a speech therapist so he could learn how to talk!
 
i'll agree Argus.. same shit with Ron Arnie and Dawn and with Bob Rivers in LA on the Arrow.. That lasted what, 1 book?

..Marko has a point too. 'Offensive' sounds pretty rough... However, I've always been a Lazlo fan and always wondered what they would sound like together on the air.
 
I miss hearing Dick on the air. He's a quality talent, and you don't see that much anymore. He truly had a way with words.

I worked with him as well, and I can tell you he's also a stand-up quality human being
 
Scot I agree 100 percent with you. I worked with him as well. I thought he was great on air and by far one of the nicest people you would ever meet. For those who say that his ratings were terrible, I ask you why Lazlo would offer Dick the night slot if his numbers were so bad? All Lazlo wanted to do was be on the air and he wasn't about to work a night shift. If someone out there has access to future numbers, I'd like to see how Lazlo and his wife do so I can get a good laugh.
