One Night - Elvis Presley
One Night - Smiley Lewis
Didn't Lewis version start out "One Night Of Sin"
Same song with major lyrics change.

Yes, they took "sin" out of the song for Elvis.

Just shows to go ya that sometimes ya gotta pay attention to determine whether it is the one you wanted.

Haven't seen "Hey Joe" (Carl Smith) and "Hey Joe" (Jimi Hendrix Experience) yet...

Have lurked on this thread but believe I have a few additions to previous examples:

Stairway to Heaven by the OJays
You and I by Rick James

I don't think I saw this one:

It Never Rains in Southern California - Albert Hammond
It Never Rains in Southern California - Tony Toni Tone

Victim of Love - Eagles
Victim of Love - Elton John
Victim of Love - Erasure

Because - The Beatles
Because - Dave Clark Five

My Love - Pet Clark
My Love - McCartney
