What was on 23.5 previously?
Jewelry TV. Prior to that it was Defy, which moved over to WEWS 5.4 when Scripps shutdown True Real.

Jewelry TV was leased out to the space where True Real occupied. This sounds like another group deal with Get TV.

I assume Get will be gone from 61.3 eventually. And for whatever is on 61.4, I only get the sound, no picture. And I don't watch 61.1 and 61.2 - no hablo Español.

Hope not, but I get the feeling that his may eventually happen.

61.4 & 61.6 are encoded in MPEG4 in order to conserve bandwidth. Older devices only support MPEG2, and any subchannel encoded in MPEG4 will only process the audio. Most smart TVs made within the last several years should be able to decode MPEG4 encoded subchannels through the tuner. Older smart TVs may not, even though they can decode MPEG4 though apps or connected devices.

You're not missing anything on 61.4 as it's more of the typical "trash" talk tv like Maury etc. and 61.6 is a shopping channel which is more duplication.

As of now, Grit is back on WEWS 5.2, with Bounce being back on WDLI 17.1, as well as WVPX 23.3. Not sure why, unless Cleveland area viewers were complaining, but why didn't they leave Grit over on WDLI or WVPX as well? Seems silly to have Bounce on 2 different stations that share the same exact broadcast.

Probably because people didn't like Ion Mystery (which basically airs Ion's leftovers), which was on 5.2 for a cup of coffee.

A couple updates:

WVPX 23.5 has flipped from Get to Game Show Central , which is owned by Sony, and features mostly reruns from sister network Game Show Network. Get (also owned by Sony) remains on WQHS 61.3, as it was only on 23.5 as a placeholder in anticipation of GSC.

Sticking with WVPX, 23.3 - which currently airs Bounce in a double dip with WDLI 17 - will on March 1 flip to a debuting network called Busted, which features police oriented shows (Cops, World's Wildest Police Videos, etc.) Bounce will remain on channel 17 (for now any way...who knows down the road given that station's recent history)

Hopefully they won't be showing any episodes of the Match Game which airs ad nauseum via Buzzr on 55.2.

Game Show Central appears to consist of newer, original content, rather than the classic shows that Buzzr currently airs.
Right - it's all basically Game Show Network stuff.

Buzzr, which is owned by Fremantle (which in turn owns all the old school Mark Goodson stuff) is where you'll find Match Game, Dawson era Family Feud, etc.

Did Busted start or not?
