Dish Network To Replace Weather Channel

Who needs The Weather Channel anymore when more people are getting their weather online or on local TV stations? TWC was putting way to much value in their network when really, they have nothing special to offer. Dish Network has a tendency to never overpay for a network and want a fair price unlike providers like DirecTV, the CEOs are very open about it in their "Charlie Chats". People aren't going to cancel because TWC isn't on the air. Good job Dish, that's why you've been my provider for past a decade.

DirecTV has been starting to get aggressive in negotiations with networks as well over the past few years. It may be to recoup the heavy cost they have for exclusivity of NFL Sunday Ticket. How can the switch from Sirius/XM to "Sonic Tap" be explained, or even bigger, its dispute with Versus?

I also now hear that CNBC will be showing Friday night movies, starting in June...

The only movie I've recalled CNBC airing was "Barbarians At The Gate". And now they're going to run, what, "Wall Street"?

Great. More fuel for Fox News 2 Fox Business.
