Do the cable companies have the capabilitiy to know how many customers are tuned to each channel?Seems like they would.Why I'm asking is Time Warner in Portland carries reruns of WMTW 8 news on cable channel 9.Is there an insider out there who knows how much use channel 9 gets?It's been going on long enough so I guess it's worthwhile.The only time it's bad is when there's a long time between newscast like saturday night at 11 until Sunday at 6, especially the weather report.
