Almost every time a newspaper mentions a tv station or a radio station, or a tv station mentions a radio station, there's an error in the call letters, the frequency, the band, the format, or something. I don't hear the mistakes on the radio as much, probably just because there isn't that much radio news on these days, hastily constructed by interns.

"WFYM News?" Whaaaat?
So do they do this on purpose, or is it legitimately an error almost every single time one type of news media mentions another one?
