For those who are interested, Elvis and JV are back on the air, or Internet. They are doing shows on the web for the time being. Their first day was today. They'll probably get into their firings sometime in the near future.

DogHouseFM.Com is the site...

Just listened and they did a great show. One of the best shows in a long time for sure. Give it a listen.

Wouldn't they be able to say WHATEVER they want if it is only on the internet? Who's going to sensor, and its not FCC regulated.

Forget the laughable internet show idea and go work at Taco Bell where you belong. At least you'll earn $10 per hour doing that...

Don't forget the employee discount on chalupas!

Sell the #'s - You have always been a DogHouse hater.... I would love to know who you realy are. I got this much your a female from NY Sometimes... you used to be Mark chernoffs PA and you post on the SF board all the time. I think you have some really hard feelings from the boys and that is to bad. They must-have treated you like sh+t. My guess is your correct this internet thing will be tough, I will predict that they will make more than $10 hour within 1 year of doing that. They won't have to do any "monica Lewesky" work to get that, unlike some people I know on this Board.

Boss -I never knew you were a DogHouse hater.... is this what you DJs do when a show leaves? Or was that just a FUNNY JOKE.

I have no problem saying I am a doghouse fan.... I also wish everyone the best of luck.... to much negativity, get on with your lives

Not a hater at all (and I'm not a DJ; those are just my real initials). The mention of Taco Bell simply got me in the mood for a chalupa.

And a Mexi Melt.

And two bean burritos (green sauce instead of red).

All praises to Casa de Perros. If they can do a show every day on the Internet, with no guaranteed pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, while attracting an audience and not getting stale or wondering "why are we doing this," then my hat is off to them.

Mmmm. Chalupas...

DJ

I worked with the Dogs for years and they were good guys, Elvis and Hollywood especialy. They were no worse than any other AM Drive host. All jocks have huge egos. I worked with tons of SF jocks way less talented who were much bigger A-holes. While Dog may not be your cup of tea, they did make KYLD a bundle of money. Trust me, I know. Sell the #'s should just be happy they had something to sell. Dogs made it possible for many people at that station to eat. I wish them Luck!!!

Sell the numbers has been an [EDIT] about this the whole time. They say they work for CBS in NY, but post in
SF boards. DoghouseFm.com

[EDIT-namecalling]

Mmmm. Chalupas...

Are those the ones with the hot soft tortilla on the outside, and the crispy tortilla inside? How DO they do that?

Now back to The Doghouse...

Yes back to the Doghouse.......................they did great thinks for people in NY and SF and anywhere else the stations could be heard. Doghousefm.com

Yes, such great "thinks" that no station wants to hire them now. My college radio station wouldn't take them....not good enough....washed up....enjoy doing the internet show........................what's next?........a lemonade stand?...lol

Ha Ha...this thread is so funny. I worked with those guys and trust me, it didn't take us long to figure out that they were the most overrated, untalented losers ever known. I wouldn't ordinarily be so hard on them during their time of humiliation but they were way to high on themselves and rude to our staff. We all knew that it stemmed from their insecurity.
Forget the laughable internet show idea and go work at Taco Bell where you belong. At least you'll earn $10 per hour doing that...
In other words, "They made fun of us and made us feel bad about ourselves, so I hate them!" Whaaa, if you can't take the heat, find another job.Truth is, It's a good thing the Doghouse is back, regardless if it's Internet or not. Radio had gotten stale, ESPICALLY IN THE BAY AREA. I drive a truck for a living and i'm stuck listening the morning shows here in the bay area, and the only two I can actually enjoy most of the time is Bob and Tom, when I can actually get them, and the Adam Carolla show.

The Woody show is getting extremely stale and is basically the same premise over and over again, a topic gets broght up, Woody complains, Greg Gory jumps on Woody's bandwagon and sucks up by agreeing then the rest of the crew who disagree with Woody have a agrument, hell even is a listener disagrees, that listener just gets hung up on.

Lamant and Tanelly....no.

Sarah and Noname....I prefer to stay awake while driving.

The Doghouse is something that actually makes me wish my work day was already over so I could go home, turn on the computer, go to www.doghouseFM.com and enjoy good radio that should have NEVER EVER would have been cancelled. And lets be honest, if the Doghouse was still on wild 94.9, no raido show out here would NEVER stand a chance against them.

The Doghouse is the best show on radio.  All other dj's wish they had the creativity and rapport JV and Elvis have, but are too busy swinging from their nutz to do anything about it.

I'd have to agree. I listened to morning radio here and there in NYC and never paid it too much attention, even Howard Stern never pulled me in the way these guys have. I find their humor funny and they don't seem to be trying too hard and relying so much on their lackeys like others out there. Their connection to the fans is strong and they come across as real people. Not some voice immitating lameass with a laugh track behind him.

I agree that O&A will be fine at XM. I think JV and ELvis are on to something special with the internet. I also would love to hear what "Sell the numbers" has to say about JV and Elvis in NY with CBS. Sell the numbers has they are a AE working for CBS and that they could not sell ad time for the DH? Prove it.........This has been going on for almost 2 years now........doghousefm.com
