The other problem is while I can get the station on my car radio I can't get it, even during daylight, from where I live, which is in the southwest part of the City of Pittsburgh.

Ironically, 1550 WAS business talk before this lineup took hold and Ron Morris reprogrammed/bought WMNY.
As far as the Lifestyles Network, I have to say that I do recognize some of the talent on there. Papa Joe Chevalier, for instance, was a national staple on the old "One-on-One" sports network of the 1990s that predated FOX and ESPN.
He is also from Western PA originally.
Boss Radio said:Chevalier was a student at Duquesne in the late 60s, early 70s. He's probably about 60 now.

Heard that Lynn Cullen MIGHT guest on WMNY. I know three people who think that this is the beginning of the turnaround and the return to being a powerhouse like it was as WIXZ

Exatly all that time and money wasted.Parttimer said:PHIL Z said:Too Bad Renda Broadcasting wasted the time and Money to trade 1360 for 910.
That project was never completed. Renda still owns 1360 and LMA's it to Ron Morris.
My Point, Renda should had looked into improving the 1360 Signal With That Money.ie Incress nighttime Power, Move the Night time Xmiter Site Something like that.Instead of looking to Swap Freq,s.Parttimer said:To finish would have wasted the rest of their money....
A Nighttime signal for 910 was not applied for with the FCC. Were they going to be Daytime Only?fromtheinsideout said:From what I understand, in order for the signal switch to be completed Renda would have had to build a new transmitter site in the South Hills and the process of acquiring the land and building the new site would have cost in the neighborhood of $5 million, an investment that would take decades to recoup given the billing for that station.
