Every morning, I check Radiodailynews.com. And it seems like every week or so I see an item that Doug Stephan has added three or four more affiliates. He's on a few progressive talk stations before or during morning drive. But mostly he's heard on stations with other formats. I've heard him referred to as a liberal but some apparently consider him not liberal enough (like Alan Colmes). However, he seems to be picking up stations and nobody much notices.
To my listening he seems to go more for lifestyle and water-cooler topics than politics. When he does political topics, he seems to be non-confrontational and arguementative and to play it down the middle (which has become an unusual - even refreshing - approach these days).
