AND Drew will not use the tall, thin wired microphone that Bob always used. It's a wireless, and I think it even has a flag with the show's logo on it. I saw it somewhere. And if more people are as disappointed as me, it will probably be the final season of daytime game shows.

Studio20 said:um....I'm thinking April Fools Day, the actress that portrayed Mimi will somehow end up one of "Carys Cuties"..
room for cameos from Ferguson, Mochrie and Styles?

Don't take it personally, but there is nothing wrong with these updates.
Would you say the same thing about Wheel of Fortune? What about the fact that Vanna doesn't even turn the letters anymore? What about the change in Music? How about the full screen backdrop sets that are different every show? Hasn't changed the game, and it still does well.
How about Family Feud? What about Jeopardy! ? The Alex Trebek version is vastly different from the orignal run and yet is more successful.
Drew Carey has experience hosting a show, he did fine with "Who's Line" and "Power of Ten." He'll do fine with TPIR, which is an institution, like the Tonight Show, like SNL. It's not going anywhere, and Drew is the right choice.
Really, type of microphone? Who cares?
