Dry/annoying commercials killing TSL

The ads that irritate me on TV and radio both are the ones that keep repeating the same toll free number, keep repeating the same toll free number, KEEP REPEATING THE SAME TOLL FREE NUMBER!!!
Takes time to find a pen and paper to write it down, y'know, or even to punch it into your phone if you're inspired to order the item or service immediately. How long do you remember a phone number if you hear it spoken to you once? Most likely, you don't remember it at all and your first reaction is "What's that number again?"

So what if they pay to send Jewish kids from well-off families to summer camp? That doesn't mean they're violating any laws.
If people continue to donate their vehicles without confirming that the charity lines-up with their personal belief structure, doesn't mean K4K is doing anything wrong.
Not just summer camp. The goal of the organization is to turn secular Jewish kids into observant Orthodox Jewish kids.

And everyone knows that if K4K mentioned any Jewish connection to their charity in their ads, donations would plummet overnight.

I only am able to read what's described in their not-for-profit filings and via organizations which disclose the charitable purpose. Any other agendas, hidden or otherwise, don't necessarily need to be disclosed

You're probably right about that. Given the unfortunate, yet seemingly abundance of public antisemitic leanings over the past five years, one probably wouldn't want to include those details in the ad. That said; if someone wanted to determine what a charity was about, and the conversion rate of donation percentage that goes to the kids, it's pretty easy to find.

Kars 4 Kids donations aid in the religious education of children who, for the most part, aren't particularly needy.
Reminds me a bit of the story on one of the investigative TV shows back in the 80s that focused on Save the Children. That charity was frequently running TV spots stating they were helping to feed and care for malnourished kids around the world, and helpinhg children who were impacted by wars, with lots of heartwrenching images showing hungry and needy kids, along with their toll-free number where you could donate. Upon investigation, that particular TV journalist found that much of the money being donated to Save the Children was actually being used to build playgrounds in the US for children to play in.

The radio ad that I HATE...HAAATTTEEEE the most is Liberty Mutual telling us that "people remember commercials when there's lots of repetition, so we'll demonstrate repetition". I automatically change that channel so fast in the car the emu didn't know what hit him.

Not to mention on our televisions, the Gecko is once again, for the 4th time in 8 years, screaming about how he has "a flat tireeeeee!!!" Does Geico like recycling crummy ads from 2013?
I like the GEICO ads that don't have the gecko.

Now that Sears has closed in my area, I have to pay my credit card bill over the phone. They give me a confirmation number but I didn't think I'd need it. Then one month they contacted me because I was overdue. I thought I remembered paying but maybe I didn't. When I called to ask if there had been some mistake because I thought I had paid, they asked for my confirmation number. So now i know it's important. There are too many digits so I went to get something to write with. Now when I am actually paying they give me the option for "I need a minute". My only option with the confirmation number is to repeat it. But when I go to get something to write with it hangs up on me.

Lol, personally I choose to ignore the stupid commercials (though Geico does have a few creative spots on TV I've liked - the "clogging problem" being one good example) and each time my auto insurance is up for renewal, I check with several companies and whichever is cheapest given my needs and desired coverage levels, gets my business. In my case, it's usually always been Progressive, though State Farm did come in lowest on one occasion and got my business for that particular term.
I decided to try GEICO and they did save me money. Then they said I could insure my house too and save even more. Oh, wait, we can't insure a house in this area. They lost me as i asked the people who insure my house if I could save money getting my car insured too.
