I don't like Rhianna either, she just hasn't had songs peak and get the AC airplay that Katy Perry has.sfradio said:and you are content with "Only Girl In the World"? I think Rihanna sounds worse than Katy Perry in that song.

Agreed, and keep in mind that the most of the stations that are playing these songs are programmed more like H/AC (yes, I know there are some exceptions like LiteFM who is more aggressive than most)...they just report as AC. So those songs get more spins. WCFS, WWFS, WNIC, WIAD, etc.atlantaboy said:new_friends_gr said:I think these are all good examples of the evolving nature of the AC format. It's only 15 stations out of 93 (that are playing Only Girl In The World) - AC stations just play so few currents that 15/93 stations is enough to make Top 20 on the AC chart
Doesn't seem like that's enough stations though to say "the lines are blurring" between AC and HAC

Its sister station KOST @ 103.5 is much better.
I'm not sure. WLTW is an exception to Clear Channel AC stations - most are rather conservative in sound. KOST sounds a lot more like most of their AC's than WLTW.Ken said:carolinaradio said:WLTW has hardly become a true representation of most AC's, IMO. They've really gotten in to some rhythmic stuff.

Your right on that, but would KOST still sound that way if KBIG wasn't a Hot AC/Adult Hits?
