I was on vacation in Niagara Falls driving down the road and heard country on 100.3. I thought it was country from Eire,Pa but it turns out it was KRRV-FM from Alexandria,LA! (1,315 miles)! I then starting scanning the dial with my insignia portable HD radio and got 99.3 WBVV-FM Boonesville,MS (1,149 miles), 95.1 KMXL-FM Carthage (Joplin),MI (1,046 miles), 95.1 KICT-FM Wichita,KS (1,201 miles). This is all i was able to ID due to so many stations on one frequency!

Wow! This is really one of the first big E-skip events that I was finally around for!!! Trying to pick up any E-skip around this area is always nearly impossible! There was opening up & down the dial but here was what I was able to pick up from a shopping center parking lot on my car radio, about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.......

100.3FM - KRDQ Colby,Kansas(The Ride)
101.1FM - I know I heard this station ID'd as KFNL but looked online & the frequency was listed as 92.5FM?? out of one of the Dakota's. It was def.a country format that I heard as well, so I don't know!

I picked up a number of different stations on 104.1 throughout the evening that I was listening.....
104.1FM - KNAB Burlington, Colorado
This station was coming in like a local toward the later part of the evening & is by far my furthest catch ever!!!

104.1FM - Sounded like they were getting ready to broadcast a Texas Rangers baseball game & had advertisements with an 479 area code..

101.1 is KFNF Oberlin, KS. I've heard KNAB twice before here in WA state. The Rangers 104.1 is KILX Mena, AR. 104.5 could be MN but that's way out of skip range.
