Early TV Crushes

Here were some of mine:

Dawn Hayes (host of Lottery Live in the Boston area)
Vanna White
Linda Ward (substitute Lottery Live host)
Jill Stark (another sub)
Margie Reedy (from WHDH news)
Michelle Michaels (WHDH Meteor-ologist)
Alison Bartlett (Gina from "Sesame Street")

That's all I remember for now.

Here are some of mine:

Heather Thomas - The Fall Guy
Markie Post - The Fall Guy/Night Court/Hearts Afire (Heather and Markie brightened up The Fall Guy and making me yearn for the 2nd season DVD release of that show.)
Catherine Bach - Dukes Of Hazzard
Lynda Carter - Wonder Woman
Lindsey Wagner - The Bionic Woman
Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, Farrah Fawcett-Majors, Cheryl Ladd - Charlie's Angels

Most of mine have already been named...the early ones included Melissa Sue Anderson (anyone remember James at 15?), those double-mint twins (the sisters of Katey Segal), and Yvonne Craig (Batgirl). But my top early crush goes to Elizabeth Montgomery as Samantha Stevens in Bewitched. Absolutely beautiful!

Two of my early-adult crushes were Lauren Tewes
("The Love Boat") and Marcia Strassman ("Welcome
Back, Kotter").

But ever since I was a kid, when I watched "Trials
Of O'Brien" with my dad, I've had a thing for Joanna
Barnes, who played Peter Falk's ex-wife on that show,
and was later a frequent panelist on syndicated "What's
My Line?" She's always reminded me of Lauren Bacall,
another great beauty who I'm not sure belongs here since
her medium was the movies.

Some local "weathergirls" got my attention:

Rosemary Lucas WAPI (now WVTM) Birmingham, AL
Gail Janus WXIA Atlanta
Ange Humphrey WLKY Louisville

And though I'm not a country-music fan, I have to make
an exception for Donna Stoneman (sister of Roni Stoneman
of "Hee Haw"). On the Stoneman family's show in the late
'60s "dancing little Donna" played the mandolin and danced
around a lot, but I think it was her petite size that I liked,
plus her face (Roni, on the other hand, used to be fairly
funny in the Laverne and Ina Lee Nagger sketches with
Gordie Tapp on "Hee Haw"--the only thing I ever liked about
that show--but nothing about her looks would cause me to
have a crush on her). (If you didn't grow up in the South,
this paragraph probably will mean nothing to you.)

OK, I'll take a go at it.

I have to agree on Angela Cartwright on "Lost in Space". Her big sister didn't do anything for me, oddly enough. Also Elizabeth Montgomery and Yvonne Craig. I also had an interest in Claudine Longet, who guest-starred in the pilot for "The Name of the Game", Fame Is the Name of the Game. There's also Patty Duke, from "The Patty Duke show"... I still can't decide which cousin was better.

However, my top two crushes were both on ABC. My first crush was Inger Stevens, as Katie Holstrum on "The Farmer's Daughter". I loved that show. Later on, I saw Inger in The Borgia Stick, one of the first made for TV movies, and was again captivated by her beauty and acting ability. It was sad to hear of her suicide a few lears later.

I am surprised, though, but the fact that this thread has gone on for three pages without once mentioning my Number 1 crush-Dianna Rigg as Emma Peel! Smart, sexy, capable but feminine... and those cat suit fighting outfits she wore were HOT!

Ann Sothern was my first crush. I loved her voice. Ann played the role of Susie in "Private Secretary" from 1953 until 1957. In "The Ann Sothern Show," she was Katy O'Connor, which ran from 1958 until 1961. In 1965, she was the voice of a 1928 Porter in "My Mother the Car."

Thought of another goldie oldie - Tuesday Weld on Dobie Gillis.

Just thought of this one - how 'bout Caroline Ellis, who played Joy on the Saturday morning series The Bugaloos

That was one smoking hot fairy!

Give me Karen Valentine,so cute it killed her career.

And Kim Richards, she is still hot.

Lori Saunders as Bobbie Jo on "Peticoat Junction"
Barbara Eden as title role on "I Dream of Jeannie"
Linda Evans as Audra on "The Big Valley" (and even more so as Krystle on "Dynasty")
Patty Duke's dual roles Patty and Cathy on the series that beared her name.

Patty was better than Cathy,because:

"Patty likes to rock and roll, a hot dog makes her lose control"

Adding:

-Lisa Hartman (pre Hartman-Black) in her Tabitha days
-Alissa Milano
-Justine Bateman (in her Family Ties days)

-the rest of the Charlie's Angels (Tanya Rogers,

Close, WMC...Tanya Roberts. Jaclyn Smith was always my fave, even though all my classmates drooled over Farrah.

Didn't know Kim Richards is Paris and Nicky Hilton's aunt...thanx, WMC. Wish I could see how she looks nowadays.

I mentioned Jan Smithers as Bailey on WKRP, which a few have echoed, and I have to echo WMC's mention of Justine Bateman...she didn't know it, but Mallory Keaton was my girlfriend... ;D

But what surprises me is that no one's mentioned Erin Gray!!! (duh-rooool duh-roool!!!!) That woman's beauty...sublime!!!! Look up yummy in the dictionary, you'll see Erin's picture!! :-*

I need to add Nicole Eggert most especially from her Charles in Charge days. How'd Scott Baio keep his hands off her??

Easy.

He probably didn't wanna get slapped with one of two things:

1. Her hand
2. A sexual harassment lawsuit

Maybe both.

-I meant Tanya Roberts, not Rogers. Typing too quickly probably...not proofreading my own post. :(
-I agree on Erin Gray although I thought I mentioned her earlier in the post...maybe not
-Try KimRichards.com. I have no idea how updated it is but there's a nice picture of her there.

Actually, it was Erin Moran you mentioned (once she developed).

Ann-Margaret (If you count a TV special)

Callie Thorne (Detective Ballard) -Homicide Life on the Streets

Cheryl Miller - Daktari

At the present time: ( No crushes, just a middle-age man thinking out loud)

Emily Procter on CSI-Miami.
Jennifer Love-Hewitt- Ghostwhisper
Angie Harmon -Womens Murder Club
