Early TV Crushes

Lotsa people have mentioned quite a few I had even forgotten about, reminding me why doesn't TV Bland show any of these good older shows.

Anywho, here's a few more for ya:

Get Smart's Barbara "Agent 99" Feldon (I remember her in some 60's commercial where she was smokin' hot - and I was just a little kid back then!).

How about Elinor Donohue back when she was in the old black and white episodes of The Andy Griffith Show?

There was a young dancer on the 60's teen show "Hullabaloo" that would later go on to make musical stardom in the 80's with her hit song "Mickey" - yes, it was Toni Basil (this one took a little time to research as I was shocked when I first discovered it).

From Chips, both Brianne Leary (She did a show years later on Animal Planet called "Petsburgh USA" and looked great!!) and, of course, Randi Oaks.

From "Eight Is Enough, Dianne Kay who played Nancy Bradford.

Did anybody mention Diana Rigg from The Avengers?

Perhaps not as "hot" as many of the others mentioned, there are those whose cuteness I think are worth an honorable mention, such as Kim Darby, whom I remember from appearances in shows like Marcus Welby MD, Streets of San Francison, etc.

I'm sure this thread will go on for quite a while once everybody things about those memories.

Surpried nobody mentioned Melody Patterson(Wrangler Jane on F Troop)

Also in the movies "Easy Rider" and "Five Easy Pieces."

Yes.

I was gonna mention Melody Anderson, Elisabeth Shue, and Kylie Minogue, but they weren't on TV (I guess I just did anyway). Actually, Melody was in a made-for-TV movie about a Playboy centerfold, but not a series that I'm aware of, which is surprising, seeing how good-looking she is. Kylie was on an Australian soap, but Elisabeth was only in movies, I think.

She also played a drug addict in the 1976 flick "Mother, Jugs & Speed" with Bill Cosby, Raquel Welch and Harvey Keitel

My crush was on the Hee Haw Honeys. ;D

Those skits featuring them in the all-jug band and when they all laid out on the porch on the floor in the moonshiner's skit with the old men laying on the floor in front of them. Those lucky old men.

Judy Strangis on "ROOM 222". She was also "Mean Mary Jean" on Dodge tv spots in the 1970's. Notice on looking at the IMDB site for her bio that her uncle was Spike Jones; brother producer Sam Strangis. The site says she does voice work on CSI these days.

1) Pamelyn Ferdin, the ubiquitous child actress that popped up on damn near everything from "Branded" to "Night Gallery" in the late '60s and early '70s. Now an animal welfare activist in Southern California.

2) Jodie Foster, when she was doing the TV series version of "Paper Moon."

3) Marcie Barkin, frequent face on sitcoms in the '70s and featured player on "Please Stand By." Now a computer programming specialist and lecturer based in Boulder, Colorado.

I always liked Bailey (who has been mentioned several times).

Not mentioned and my special crush: Allyce Beasley - Agnes Dipesto on Moonlighting.

Mouseke-crush: Darlene. (I just knew Annette would not put out.)

Judy Tyler (Princess Summer-fall-winter-spring).

Sally Sheffield (From the "First Look" on NBC, later Playboy Playmater of the Month)

Xuxa.

Rhea Perlman (you just knew she'd be more fun than Diane, Rebecca or Lilith).

Marilu Henner (had my meter running on Taxi).

Sheila James (Zelda on Dobie Gillis)

Robin Morgan (Dagmar on I Remember Mama)

Pat Woodell (the original Bobbie Jo)

Sherry Jackson (Terry, Danny Thomas' original daughter - she's hot, Marlo's not)

Veronica Cartwright (Jemimah on Daniel Boone)

Mary Grace Canfield (Ralph on Green Acres)

Jackie Joseph

Didi Conn (Shining Time Station)

Annie Potts (Designing Women, Ghostbusters)

Adrienne Barbeau (Carol in "Maude")

Megan Gallagher (Hill Street Blues)

Sarah Jessica Parker (Square Pegs, Sex in the City)

Tawny Kitaen ("The New WKRP in Cincinnati")

Lorna Patterson (Private Benjamin)

Blair Brown (Molly Dodd)

Francine Tacker (Paper Chase, Dallas)

Victoria Principal (Dallas)

Ellen Foley (Night Court)

Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager)

Jolene Blalock (Star Trek: Enterprise - Vulcans do it only once in seven years but worth waiting for)

Diane Farr (Numb3rs)

PS: Watch out for Wangler Jane. She was under-age.

Just thought of this one - how about Anne Francis in "Honey West"

I know this isn't TV, but what about Anne Francis in Forbidden Planet? ;D

If you saw it on TV, then it counts. ;)

As long as I'm here, I wish to add Diahann Carroll from Julia, and Peggy Lipton from the Mod Squad.

Yow-zuh!

I don't think anyone has mentioned Cheryl Holdridge. She was one of the original Mousketeers. Later on, she was featured under a couple of different character names in Leave It To Beaver. Cheryl was a cute blonde with a husky-like voice. In recent pictures taken of her, she still looks good.

I would like to add the various hostesses from MTV's Remote Control which ran from about 1987-1990:

-Marisol Massey
-Kari Wurher
-Alicia Coppola
-Susan Ashley

"Sheila James (Zelda on Dobie Gillis)"

For those of you outside California who don't know - since 2001, Sheila James Kuehl is the very liberal Democrat State Senator from California's most liberal senatorial district (outside San Francisco, in any case), which includes Santa Monica and West Los Angeles. Prior to Kuehl, this District was held by Tom Hayden, of radical Chicago 7, and ex-Mr. Jane Fonda fame.

Have to add one of my first crushes: Annie Farge, the
French actress who played the Lucy-like character
"Angel" on CBS (1960-61). Like "I Love Lucy" this show
was produced by Jess Oppenheimer; here the wife was
the immigrant but still a scatterbrain.

And from my young adulthood in the '70s: Toni Tennille.

I say all the women that are mentioned on here I had crushes on, my crushes were

Teresa Graves-Get Christie Love
Cher
All the ladies on Charlie's Angels
BernNadette Stanis-Thelma On Good Times
Ja'Net Dubois-Willona On Good Times
Donna Douglas-Ellie Mae/ Beverley Hillbillies
Angie Dickinson
Barbi Benton
Lauren Tewes
Catherine Bach
Loni Anderson
Victoria Principal
Charlene Tilton
Mei & Kei-Pink Lady-Pink Lady & Jeff
Lisa Hartman-Tabitha
Tracy Reed
