"Apocalypse Now!" edition of Good Morning Indiana, complete with a scrolling ticker which actually contained quite reassuring headlines like "Small amounts of earthquake damage reported across Central Indiana." But the graphics package and the fact they were still in breaking news mode, made it seem like Godzilla had visited Indy.richmcdonald said:The way local television covered it this morning. I thought that Armageddon had fallen upon us.
And one other local newscast, I think maybe WTHR, was using a large on screen graphic that read "Minor Earthquake Damage Reported" but again, the way it was presented made me think "Indiana Hit By Nuclear Bomb in Military Accident."
What about weather reports? You'd think they were crying wolf!
