EAS Upgrade

We are looking for an installer to complete our EAS upgrade in Winder. Need to have a non penetrating roof mount put in, FM Receiving antenna and run RG-6 coax to our studio from the roof. Any suggestions or recommendations for a good contractor?

Thanks, Dan is our engineer, but he does not want to tackle the roof top antenna. He is installing the equipment though.

Dave, is it just an FM antenna to feed the EAS rx? If so, get a couple of clamps that you can mount to a pipe, like a sewer vent and attach the antennas that way. I have done it with several of my clients and it works great. Much cheaper than a non-penetrating roof mount rig, too.

We do not own the building. I may suggest that to the boss though.

I have used a piece of three foot long 2" dia PVC pipe in the past. anything to get the antenna up of the roof. clamp your FM antenna at the top of the PVC and then clamp the PVC to a vent pipe on the roof. Works like a charm. Good luck.
