Edward Maya "Stereo Love" - Top 10 At Power 96 Miami

No sir prize.

At least with Yolanda Be Cool in rotation, "Stereo Love" will not sound too outlandish on rhythmic and even top 40 radio. As long as we keep coming with new styles in sound, I think we're safe with the dance music trend. If we were still sounding like Danity Kane "damaged" or Rihanna "don't stop the music" today, then I think people would be much more tired and many more complaints regarding today's hit music sound would've been the result. People can only take so much quasi.

Officially added on KZON playlist as of RIGHT NOW, AS I TYPE.

Not even sure if KZZP added it yet.

I heard it too. Supersnake seems to believe it'll be quite a hit because "We No Speak Americano" has been such a hit.

Oh, and remember this;

WELL, the on-air person pretty much made the same reference! Stereo Love vs Americano.. his actual words were "You saw what happened to Americano..."

Well, I'm guessing the same thing COULD happen to Stereo Love as well. Too bad Akcent tried, but didn't make it in the U.S. like Edward Maya did.

Just so you guys know, Americano is struggling to get into the Top 40, while Stereo Love has already plowed its way up to 34...

If anything it's Americano that will be following Stereo Love.

Well, I'll just say the stations I listen to, for some reason, aren't reflecting this at all... but my wishful thinking is encouraging me to just take your word for it because I'm really apathetic to whether or not "Americano" makes it. I do like the fact that it was one more uptempo hit heavily played on the radio, though.

I'm loving how many times a day I'm hearing "Stereo Love" right now - on RHYTHMIC radio! In other words, its been increased in rotation. Could you imagine how just two years ago, I would've never imagined this would ever happen! Now it's on TWO (Az.) stations, with one of them being one where you wouldn't expect it!

What sucks is whenever I move out of Phoenix, I'll probably be back from being able to hear it multiple times on radio to hearing it 0 times  (or once a week)... Unless, of course, it gets so big that "EVERYONE is forced to play it"

Phoenix has some great Rhythmic radio.

Our Rhythmic CHR in Philly (WRDW) hasn't touched Stereo Love, and if they do eventually it will be only in overnights. They played Americano for about a month, overnights only.

Meanwhile, formerly dance-friendly WIOQ only just added Stereo Love a few days ago. No action on Americano. Sad :(

Where I am (SE Nassau County on Long Island) I can pick up "Stereo Love" on five stations. Party FM and WBLI here on Long Island and Z100, 92.3 Now and KTU from NYC.

For those living in north central Suffolk County, you could hear it on at least eight stations and perhaps nine. The five I mentioned above, as well as WSPK (K104.7) from Poughkeepsie (which has a decent signal on much of LI's north shore), WKSS from Hartford, and WKCI Kc101 from New Haven has started playing it (though in much lower rotation than the others mentioned). Beach 101.7 from further out on LI might be playing it as well (haven't seen an updated playlist, but they have traditionally been fairly dance friendly)

I heard "We No Speak Americano" on Ryan's Secrest's show yesterday. Looks like it's going to get more adds too.

His "show"?

It's your regular CHR station's music interspersed with his talk breaks.

Glad to see WQHT Hot 97 using "Stereo Love" during their Thanksgiving Mix Weekend. I guess they really needed some thing to mix with that "Check it out" by Will I Am & Nicki Minaj, and "shots" by LMFAO or something else just wasn't good enough! ;D

WOW - I'm really shocked to hear "Stereo Love" on an urban station, especially if it's the almighty Hot 97 playing it! I guess this song is more popular on the east coast (NYC/Miami more likely) than on the west coast.

I'll also be shocked if I see V103 or Hot 107.9 Atlanta playing "Stereo Love"...

Hot 97 is labeled as rhythmic.

As far as hearing it at WHTA or wvee, we'll surely discover whether or not there's life after death before we ever hear it in WHTA or WVEE. As a matter of fact, the only way you'll hear it at those stations is if you record it onto a cassette, put the cassette in your walkman, take your walkman to the station and press play while you're there.

I heard it in Lafayette Indiana on the way to chicago yesterday on 96.5 WAZY.
