Why is it embarrassing?
That link jarred my memory; I once knew that information. Then I forgot it. Old age ain't all the fun your Grandma made you think it was. Thanks for sending!Dave Andrews said:B-Side to Sunshine Of Your Love. Here's the link which tells what the song might stand forjfrancispastirchak said:SWLABR Cream

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Jack Bruce (Cream) did the lead vocals.CrankyYankee said:Not that it was any sort of a hit(It wasn't),and I don't remember who sang it, and it was more of a novelty song than anything else..."If You See Kaye"....
Thanks for that refresher course. Maybe I need to spend some time on Wikipedia, restoring my memory of things I once remembered.skippertthomas said:Pete Brown, a Friend of Ginger Baker (Drummer) wrote lyrics for it....Jack Bruce, Bass and Eric Clapton, Guitar, wrote the music... Mr. Bruce did the lead vocal.... Clapton still plays it on his road set...
Funny anecdote about High Blood Pressure & the clerk's response!... Who sang If My Nose Was Runnin' Money ??trusty said:Back in the early sixties, there was this song titled "High Blood Pressure" by Huey "Piano" Smith (It was a "B" side.). Anyway, my friend's dad went to the record store to see if they had it. He asked the lady behind the counter if she had "High Blood Pressure".
Her response was, "No, but I have a slight liver problem. Can I help you?"

Let's not forget that country favorite: "If My Nose Was Runnin' Money, I'd Blow It All On You". ;D
Checked Wilburn on Wikipedia. Turns out I am familiar with him afterall, since I'm a faithful follower of the Gaithers. Just never heard of that song. Guess I'll sample it on Youtube.trusty said:

I saw Loudon in concert in Syracuse around 1975 and one of the highlights was a bluesy tune called "Pittsburgh." It consisted of lines like "Do you wanna go to Pittsburgh? / Do you really wanna go? / Do you wanna go to Pittsburgh? / It's in Pennsylvania, you know" sung over and over and over until the last verse, when they were switched to "If you wanna go to Pittburgh / If you really wanna go / If you wanna go to Pittsburgh / THEN GET ON THE BUS AND GO!!!" I think that song might have been about Pittsburgh.
