The 105.3 translator in Downtown Houston totally obliterates the signal in Baytown. I would say Anahauc is the western frontier.Nothing will change nothing will happen 105.3 does not make it past Baytown.

To be fair they didn't specify which translatorsPlease don't cause frankberry and/or DavidEduardo to have to lock down yet another Houston thread. You'd think the 1/2 dozen they've already been forced to close would serve as adequate warning.
Sir. Imma need that verifiable proofThe 105.3 translator in Downtown Houston totally obliterates the signal in Baytown. I would say Anahauc is the western frontier.
I don’t think call letters are as important as they once were. The thing I'm most surprised about is KXXF's callsign not being updated. Maybe that'll come after the KTHT purchase closes?
True. They never changed KHJKI don’t think call letters are as important as they once were.
I think almost all of the time, you see EMF changing the calls as soon as they get their hands on a station and flip it to K-Love. My guess is that they might only change KTHT's calls to something like KVLH.I don’t think call letters are as important as they once were.
K287BQ makes it east of Baytown. It has a really great signal for 99 watts from Wells Fargo. The 105.3 translator in Downtown Houston totally obliterates the signal in Baytown. I would say Anahauc is the western frontier.
EMF is inconsistent about call letters. For some acquisitions a change is made, while others remain the same. Probably a coin flip whether 97.1 gets a new call.I think almost all of the time, you see EMF changing the calls as soon as they get their hands on a station and flip it to K-Love.
KVLH appears to be available, as the Pauls Valley, Oklahoma station that once held the call is now defunct. My guess is that they might only change KTHT's calls to something like KVLH.
Seems to be a direct feed now. PI code matches KXXF and I didn’t hear KRLR calls at the TOTH. The 98.9 and 98.1 translator frequencies were mentioned though.Actually rebroadcasting the 94.7 Groves translator which rebroadcasts KRLR... eventually will have a direct sat feed
AFR doesn’t have any HD1 stations98.1 serving Beaumont, which is a translator. Oddly, Radio-Locator has this as an AFR outlet with KZFT as the parent. Perhaps KZFT has K-Love on an HD-2 which is what is rebroadcast on 98.1?
Let’s not, please??? We really don’t need more thread closures in the Houston forum.@ContinuousWave how did your court date go? (since we are talking about that region)
Polemic-free discussion of KHTW should be on the Texas board as the station has no Houston presence. It was a honest question I'm interested in what happens to that station so i was curious about how it had gone. no one is debating or arguing it's a simple question with a simple answer. let's not be that forum where people can't ask a direct question.
Well since you asked it's been delayed due to circumstances beyond my control..or the court's@ContinuousWave how did your court date go? (since we are talking about that region)
Winnie would be the perfect place for a station named The Pooh.Winnie is a far suburb of Houston, and is totally served by the many Houston full signal stations on FM and by many of the AMs, too.
Thanks Chris! see that was easy and did not close down the conversation.Well since you asked it's been delayed due to circumstances beyond my control..or the court's
Hope things get sorted out soonWell since you asked it's been delayed due to circumstances beyond my control..or the court's
