Can't stand the Russ Barfmin show. I am right in his demo also. Gavin why did you move it up to 2:30pm. I switch the station once that comes on. Sam the Mailman you are the lurker of 105.3. I am sure you have been lurking around the boards. Let Gavin know what people are saying.
By the way the Jagger show was a sinking ship this morning...saying they have things to talk about but they can't.

I heard from people who talked to Pugs on Saturday night that he was telling people to just be patient and not to worry, because things will work themselves out.

Twice yesterday once during Jagger and once during BDH, they mentioned P&K by name, they actually acknowledged they exist as people! They said to possibly expect an announcement this week. So... The radio station is acknowledging they still exist, and there is some sort of announcement forthcoming. If it were the case that they were gone gone, I don't think they would ever have an "announcement" per se. They wouldn't publicize them leaving, and possibly promote another station in the process. But if say they were coming back....... That might warrant an announcement.

It would prove all of the naysaying "insiders" on these boards wrong if the new rumor about them heading to mornings on 93.3 The Bone is true, though.
Amazing thing. I, like a bunch of others on here, found this board only after googling for info on P&K when they disappeared. Only to be met with bitter, judgmental, holier-than-thou comments about P&K and their listeners who had shown up here looking for info.
If they do end up on the Bone - not owned by CBS - I bet those of you insistent that they ONLY had a show because of some lawsuit settlement will feel THAT MUCH HAPPIER that they are on the air, but you aren't.
Surely they would have a min. 6 mo. non-compete.

On Jagger this mornig they stated they should be able to release an offical statement this week about P&K. Then went on about lawyers and it is always the lawyers fault.
Allegedly official "Pugs & Kelly" posted this at 10:12am over on the Unfair Park blog:
"Yes, we did it! Look out Jagger!"
"Yes, we did it! Look out Jagger!"
If they do in fact end up doing mornings in the near future, that will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the administration at that station is completely incompetent across the board.
Regardless of your like or dislike of P&K, having them leave and go to another station and compete directly against your own morning show is GUARANTEED to cost you some listeners. There is no way it won't. How much is for speculation. Jaegger is not exactly dominating morning drive as it is though, and I doubt he could afford to split his audience.
Certainly they could not have been dumb enough to just let them go and go somewhere else...
What would be even funnier is if Russ had them get rid of P&K and demanded they do it, so they had to do it allowing them to move somewhere else and compete right away.
Gavin and David seem wholly incapable of working in radio.
