Don't forget that whole "sleeping with the interns" thing... I guess CBS forgives him for that, too...

I try to not think about that when I'm watching Letterman, but it's hard not to. That's one of the reasons I rarely watching his show these days.

I like The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson despite not having a house band and having the goofy censorship mouth blurs/cover-ups when someone swears. That form of censorship annoys me greatly. I used to wish that Ferguson was hosting Late Night instead of Fallon, but that was before the whole Conan-Leno situation broke out.

But it seems that Ferguson wouldn't want to do the Late Show because he wants to do his style of a more freeform show than what Letterman is doing.

I think compromising one's style to fit another's show (or time slot) has been tried, right?
