While I appreciate several of your personal and private emails to me yesterday I wanted to go on the record and state that I am not part of a witch hunt. We as a radio community are somewhat tight and there are times when certain individuals need to be taken out back to the woodshed and set straight. FACT: Morale at the Indianapolis Entercom branch is at an all time low. Based on what I hear, I would prefer to be a season ticket holder with the Pacers than show up to work there everyday. This even goes back to the Mystar days. Here is the issue. MANAGEMENT! You have a GM who was taken out of radio retirement to run a radio station. You have a DSM who was brought out of a retirement home to focus on digital sales. The GM allows the DSM to put on her tiara and parade around the office disrespecting everyone on the staff. (Including the GM) I guess it would be an award like RESIDENT OF THE MONTH at a retirement home. For those of you who don't know, Entercom is a great company. That being said, great companies have to admit hiring errors and make adjustments accordingly. To be a good manager you have to take care of your staff and help them grow on all levels. To belittle your staff daily means that you are heading back to radio retirement. Like I stated yesterday, Entercom Executives are intelligent people and intelligent people don't want to see a mass exodus from a branch that certainly has a lot of potential. The Jenny Skjodt, "ostridge head in sand" approach will not work. I felt it compelling that not 1 person responded over the past two days with ANYTHING good to say about these two ladies. NOT 1. That really does say alot. I specifically remember a post that someone made in regards to Julie Reyburn. "Get in good with the prune, she's tight with Jenny Skjodt." People at Entercom despise Julie Reyburn and they scoff at the way she exploits her friendship with Jenny. It's almost as if Jenny has no clue or chooses to ignore it. Either way, that's not a GM that I would respect. Jenny needs to separate friendship from the whole working relationship or Mr. Doyle will be paying a visit very soon. Off the record, is it true that Julie Reyburn has been an AARP member since 1984?
