??? Hey Julius. Very simple. Get to be the FCC chairman and change any rules or regs that you see fit. I am baffled that anyone gets a reply in a dozen different explanations and you still insist on bringing up the same old.......I thought I was going to read a long thread but got overwhelmed at the redundance......take those people's hints and helpful vtk (vast technical knowledge).

I work at, WNWR, being a daytimer. They leave the air at sunset to protect KXEL Waterloo, IA, also on 1540.

I would think WDCD (1540) in Albany, New York is more of a concern since it is only about 195 miles away as oppsed to KXEL, which is about 900 miles away from Philadelphia.

It's called skywave.

It IS skywave in the case of KXEL; they're specified as the limiting station on WNWR's license. After sunset, I hear a mix of KXEL and CHIN Toronto, with WDCD underneath. Albany has a deep null to the south in its pattern. I think that offers some protection to the primary station on 1540, which is ZNS1 in Nassau. They run 50 kW into a 2 tower array that has a null toward the US.

Julius fails to acknowldge alot of things. We keep answering his questions, but keeps going on and on about the same thing...despite us responding to his concerns. Julius has no reason to be upset with us, and basically saying we are against him. Mr. Tatz is right, in terms of the redundancy in this thread. Julius asked the same question twice. Several folks, including myself, answer his questions and he's still not satisfied. Julius has said in the past he would change his ways...and he hasn't and never will. The reason he refuses to call into the Radio Racket show is because the panel would challenge everything he says...it's not because his mother won't allow him to use the phone or the computer after 10:00 on Friday night. I wish we could put this thread to rest, since we have already addressed the original topic.

A Sports FM station is garbage (Just look @ 103.7 WEEI -- What a waste)

WEEI-850 has signal problems at night beyond Route 128 (inner loop) in the Boston metro. That's one reason why Entercom purchased WWRX-103.7 in Westerly/Providence RI and turned it into WEEI-FM.

As for an all-sports FM in Philadelphia? Shudder the thought. :p

That's what people have been trying to tell you. Go back and read the posts.

We want you to understand the answers we give you when you address something. We are trying to help you...and you fail to comprehend this simple concept. Take Fred's advice and re-read this entire thread again. There is nothing else to say on this topic. Stop getting pissy with us, because we have done nothing wrong. Check your attitude problem at the door. There is no reason for this thread to be five pages long.

You are right Shawn. I'm sorry for this. I just want to be able to hear the games on the radio on a clear signal, and I want the radio stations to carry every game local and national, and not skip it and promote the games, that's all I want.

2 big players in this market said no sports talk on 104.5 howard eskin and rob brooks so not happening end this topic already

If Julius keeps going on and on, I bet there will be a Page 7.

Julius: what you want is not going to happen. Deal with it. I don't know how many times I have to say it. Others have said pretty much the same thing I have. I can't think of any other way to make you understand this. Your concerns have been addressed. Too bad that we aren't giving you the answers you want. End of discussion.

This is goig to become this most widley read and replied to thread on radio-info.com next to the thread aobut the New FM in Cincinatti!

I seen both those guys at the phils game last night and asked about that would never call another station about this one so there you have it
btw i used to do callin talk on wnjc1360am and yes its pay to play on that station

It wouldn't surprise me if Julius did call WIP to ask about another radio station's format. I thought Julius wasn't allowed to use the telephone? If he did call WIP, I wonder why he will call a WIP talk show but refuses to call the Radio Racket program?
