Why is it that the "fair and balanced" crowd doesn't seem to want "fair and balanced radio?"

That was your direct quote Sean. You threw out the number of people that attended, all I ask is that you back that up with something other than blogs. A newspaper accounting of the event would work.
Besides, I don't care that you are a radio advertiser. Does that make you special somehow, because I notice that you throw that out when you think it helps your position?

But it's not the answer for progressive talk. The answer is to find hosts who know how to do good radio. good radio and a little pro otion goes a long way.

I wouldn't beat you up for that statement, I am sure that it was not that bad for you. There was not nearly as much talk programming to start with, and we did not exist in this hyper-partisan, scorched earth environment that we have today. Today with all of the 527's, interest groups with shady connections to individual politicians, watchdog groups with axes to grind, etc....the blizzard of challenges and paperwork would be nearly endless. They would have to open a new wing at the FCC just to house the filings from MediaMatters.org. And it would not all be coming from the left....conservative groups would be sophisticated enough to give-as-good-as-they-get this time around. This is Mutual Assured Destruction. You do not want to start this, people!
