Fantastic word game

The Drudge Report usually has about 6,842 headlines to read through, which could become somewhat gruelling to pore over, even for the most sedentary of people.

Drat, and double drat!

Speciality, or limitation rather, of ability in a spacialty, usually manifests itself as all-seeing, all-knowing, arrogant pomposity.
 
His international band camp expeditions were what turned a once shy, reserved, bookish dmargalotti into an international phenom who's never slowed down, but has succeeded by leaps and bounds, so that he and kenrayc have to have scheduling secretaries to keep up with their calendars of appearances by popular demand.
 
Their calendars of appearances by popular demand are so full well in advance that people need to come up with creative ways to get their attention such as bolding their entire contribution just like quad did.


I'm sure he meant to do it that way. 8)
 
Just like quad did bolding every word, I hear tell the competing band camp is cramming their jukebox full of 87 different formats after doing their drive-by's and checking out all the successful folk.
 
The successful folk here at PowerWorld know to keep our intellectual property in safekeeping so no one can steal our good name.

Until the fat lady sang the party wasn't over, but our good name strikes fear into the hearts and minds of nonbelievers, but for those of us involved, it speaks of love and peace, coffee and cherry pie, Bev and , and of luxurious 4.4BSD mainframes that just work because you need them to.

[size=8pt]The Electrical Engineering department's unfortunately going to be without a computer system on Monday, obviously, but pre-ee's overhaul has begun. And WMC, I probably won't need help bringing it back into the Powerworld building either (you had asked me earlier if I needed help hauling it out and into the helicopter when leaving to return to the University this afternoon after lunch.) See, when you bench-press 30 reps or more at 250+ pounds every couple days, hauling 80 pounds worth of computer from copter to installation site becomes like a walk in the park.....

And Quad, thanks for despatching the Powerworld helicopter to transport me and the machine back and forth. Sure is quicker than driving!
 
Luxurious 4.4BSD mainframes that just work because you need them to are nice to have, even if they do have a 17 second lag time.

We won't mention that our IT guy was still working on his system while posting after I already had the previous clue covered.
 
A 17 second lag time is going to be hard for the competing band camp radio program directors to beat, because they've been trolling around here looking to rip off our music formats, and they were wondering why there was such a mishmash on 99.3, but we (so far) didn't have the heart to tell them that we were using Jupiter Jack to mess with their minds, in honor of Billy Mays.

Oh yeah, I meant that bolding-it-all thing.

Using Jupiter Jack to mess with their minds, in honour of Billy Mays won't get you very far in my market, since 99.3 MHz is already in use by the lower sideband of one very powerful KWJJ-FM.

Actually, I think our posts crossed en route to the server/s. That would explain why such little time elapsed between when they appeared. Mine originally started at "Our good name" but your post showed up, so instead of throwing it all out I just appended that extra bit to the beginning. Good save, yeah? ;o)
 
99.3 MHz is already in use by the lower sideband of one very powerful KWJJ-FM, but that doesn't stop some from making darned good and sure we know just how talented they are to pre-empt them, follow up behind them, "tell on them", lurk around all the PowerWorld networks to be well stocked up on everything from everywhere, with the ultimate goal of taking us apart and then claiming that it happened because we were onto it and said so.

Darth, I lost count of how many times I have had to do exactly as you did. As the saying goes, "sometimes things just don't work out...I guess". Whatever works as a defense exhibit, I reckon.
 
So it was nice to get together with Darth for lunch and discuss the finer points of the band camp's mainframe system even though I didn't understand half of what he said.


Still though, Darth, it was good to see you. You need to come by more often. That northwest quadrant must be pretty confining at times. Perhaps we'll send you out more often with dmargalotti on his international band camp expeditions.
 
"I didn't understand half of what he said either, but I will defend to the death his right to say it" might have been what Patrick Henry meant, but then again, it may have been something else entirelyintended.
 
Intended for mature audiences only, the weekly executive session board meeting is kept under wraps and away from prying eyes.
 
Prying eyes are watching you, of course, but somehow I don't think that was what Hall & Oates had in mind.

Well, I'll be coming back on Monday to re-install the system and to do some work on the train printer on Univax. Yes things can be confining in the urban areas, that's why I insisted to the architect the Pendleton satellite be on a large enough campus that its buildings can be spread out (just like everything else on that side of the state is.) People need room to move about.

And we need enough space to safely detonate explosives on the fourth of July.......
 
Almost by accident is how I discovered Megan McCormick because I was flipping through the channels unable to find anything to capture my interest or hold my attention when I stumbled upon an episode of Globe Trekker and I was instantly captivated by her alluring beauty.
