Fantastic word game

Right after Labor Day all the day laborers will cease their labor for the day and stage a day-long sit-in with the goal of being allowed to form a labor union so they can fight to have fewer days of labor and better pay for the days on which they labor.

Their campaign slogan, "I'm going into labor," will likely be dropped. :)

All of the fun-time expenses can set you back a pretty penny although chances are it costs much more than a penny and if you're like me, you never thought pennies were all that attractive in the first place.

The first place you'll probably find me on my vacation this week is probably in bed because, unfortunately, I'm a bit under the weather with a nagging cough and about the only thing I feel like doing is sleeping.

See what happens when I stay home and don't go to Florida to check out the bikini babes?

A euphemism for sex is probably not what the Game Czar had in mind, although it appears that he wishes the visual were so; nevertheless, the lovely interns have been steeping tea for his afternoon hot toddy.

His afternoon hot toddy burned Mister WMC's throat and he vowed to never again make a hot toddy which was too hot and he even wrote a reminder to himself, putting it on a post-it note titled "Today's Toddy To-do list."

Hey, these can't all be gems, y'know!

Have another beer while I study CTListener's contribution to figure out if he could have written a complete (or more complete) sentence by stating "To-do list includes curing cancer, reversing the aging process, making contact with beings on another planet and having another beer".

Sorry, CT, It's my job as Game Czar to offer constructive criticism when needed. Don't take offense. We need to stick to complete sentences as much as we possibly can. PowerWorld LLC thanks you very much. :)

Having another beer cooled his throat after his too-hot toddy, but his mind wandered as he realized that "hot toddy" sounded like yet another sexual euphemism..

Sexual euphemism type contributions are not really my thing, so I'll keep it nice and clean by mentioning how much I enjoyed an extended bicycle ride over the weekend.

Welcome to the Fantastic Word Game, Jeff!

Over the weekend I'm going to the lake and hang out Saturday Morning, then afterwards I will take the PowerWorld Jet From Fresno-Yosemite International Airport to Wolcott Ct. to rock out with Dave at Illusions.

Welcome to TFWG Jeff.

We just disagree about how long ne'er do wells from other band camps get away with their unoriginal conduct.

Unoriginal conduct is only accepted from LARR while everyone else is expected to adhere to PowerWorld LLC's rules and regulations which are outlined in the handbook you are given on your first day.

Jeff, welcome to TFWG. Feel free to go back a couple of pages to find the rules that I detailed for CTListener. Basically, keep it to one sentence; use the entire bolded ending clue from the previous contribution as your new beginning clue; please bold your beginning clue and your new ending clue. Dialogue outside the actual game play (such as this) should be italicized. And, of course, feel free to peruse any or all of our 3,062 pages to see what we do and to see where we came from, how we've evolved, and where we are heading. Again, welcome. :)

Your first day at home, sick, seems to have been made somewhat more tolerable, WMC, thanks to the library interns and their candy striper skills.

Red and white candy canes and starlights also come in green and white, and we usually keep both in a candy dish that we have sitting around.

Sitting around doing nothing, I was pleasantly surprised when the lovely young library interns came by with some chicken soup and some tasty tidbits which were all thanks to The Lovely Miss Silkie (TLMS as some prefer).
