Fantastic word game

Toasting marshmallows to sandwich between two graham crackers with a chocolate bar will result in a nearly sickening sweet treat known as smores.

Or is that s'mores? Anyway, that's the recipe

Smores are one of my favorite foods but I always eat so many of them that I wind up falling asleep and then I start snoring so loud that everyone nearby hears me and gawks at me and some of them even run off, so I can testify that Smores lead to snores and snores lead to stares and stares lead to scares.

Today's Fun Factoid for the upcoming holiday weekend: Two former US presidents died on the 4th of July in 1826. Thomas Jefferson died at age 82 and five hours later John Adams died at age 90.

Radio Discussions and its predecessors have come and gone and come and gone and come back again (kinda like dmargalotti) but, through it all, we have persevered and kept on ticking as much as possible which we hope continues for a very long time to come.

A very long time to come up with a good excuse for not doing something can mean there was never really any good excuse for not doing it in the first place.

"To be or not to be" is the opening phrase of a soliloquy by Hamlet, and I have often wondered if he believed in reincarnation and thought he might come back as a bumblebee, because if that was the case he might have pondered, "To be a bee or not to be a bee."

I think that post deserves a grade of "B." :)

Climate change in my neck of the woods would be welcome for a day or two as it has been hot, humid and sultry the last few days and now Hurricane Arthur is churning up the coast.

Batten down the hatches! dmargalotti, Kenny has offered to allow you and Mrs d and the little d's to stay at his place for awhile. Or you can all just stay at Illusions because nothing gets through there.

Hurricane Arthur is churning up the coast and I'm still thinking about the possibility of Hamlet being reincarnated as a bee, but I know that if I made a pun about "Bee Arthur" you'd all start throwing rocks at me.

Throwing rocks at me for allowing LARR to continue with his punnetry would not be constructive unless LARR was not using a complete sentence in which case I would then throw the rocks at him.

The band camp fireworks show is still scheduled for tonight as the main camp will not be affected by Hurricane Arthur. dmargalotti has travelled to a couple of our band camps in Arthur's early path to determine what is needed. Stay safe everyone.

And, hey, really good news, I think. I was chatting with our good friend, quadraphonic, via Facebook last night. I think I've convinced him to come out of semi-sabattical for an occasional appearance which is fantastic!

I would then throw the rocks at him every time Mister WMC complained that I did not put enough ice cubes in his glass of diet cola.

"Rocks." Get it? And as for that reference about me not using a complete sentence.

My Refreshing drink of choice in the evening after all work activity is done is an ice cold beer.

At the ballpark today, my Red Sox will be playing two games because their game last night was rained out due to effects from Hurricane Arthur.

Let's hope they win both although, the way they've been playing this year, winning just one of them would be good.

Widespread flooding didn't occur in my state but there was some localized flooding in communities located near any body of water.

It's such a nice day today. My eyes might have been deceiving me but I'm pretty sure I saw Miss Silkie enjoying some topless driving today on the slightly more private roads just outside PowerWorld Town.
