Fantastic word game

Upside down cake of some variety or other will be served in the lounge along with other tasty treats for the Illusions Open Mic Comedy night, which means that everyone has Friday on their minds.

Everyone has Friday on their minds and I'll definitely be at the Illusions Open Mic Comedy Night just as soon as I finish picking up everything that spilled out of my upside down desk drawers.

I've just been asked to emcee the event. I plan to start the night off with a couple of really funny anecdotes about alien abductions. Should be a fun night.

During transportation over long distances by car, shifting your own contents occasionally, by getting out and walking around, is advisable in order to prevent painful hemorrhoids.

Many other things can be attributed to those who have or or may be considered hemorrhoids, but a perfect ace in the hole is not among them.

Among them things this conversation seems to be turning toward; I'm reminded of Benny Hill's song about the Western desperado who was shot while bending over, but they never could find the bullet hole.

Turning fortunately from hemorrhoids to factoids, and following up on my last one...in the 60's, a new Quaker cereal was to be called "Captain Crunch," but voice actress June Foray (at this writing, still among us at 98!) habitually read the word "captain" as "cap'n." An ad exec sitting in on the Jay Ward-directed recording session realized they might be on to something in the way kids might pronounce the name, so it was changed to "Cap'n Crunch" to match her delivery!

autumn's arrival is finally here in Central Ca as it's always late here, now I finally don't need to run the AC.

Saudi Arabia does not have a PowerWorld band camp location but they have asked us to consider them so we'll be sending a team there to check things out.

dmargalotti, Miss Silkie, myself and a couple of the lovely young library interns will be heading there next week for 2 or 3 days of scouting and observing.

Their loveliness might be a formal term of address for the Saudi sheik's beautiful harem.

However, you do not address an admiral as "Your Battleship"...

Harem auditions for all young women between the ages of 18 and 26 will take place today and tomorrow at 3pm in the band camp annex.

Veils will be provided for anyone needing one.
