On December 30, we will be setting up for our New Year's Eve Ball so if you can volunteer some time to help please be sure to put your name down on the sign up sheet in the library.
What she says goes most of the time but there have been one or two occasions when her plans were vetoed by the board of directors (BOD) such as the time she wanted the kids to perform in an original musical based on the adventures of the Donner Party.
The Donner Party was not really my idea, although I did suggest the Donder and Blitzen Party; however, because what I said was not what the BOD heard the idea was shot down, but the interns and I had a good laugh as we played the perfect Donna Reed hostesses.

The perfect Donna Reed hostesses gather for one weekend every December in the quite little town of Seneca Falls, New York which became the real inspiration for the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" after director Frank Capra spent some time visiting the area while working on the screenplay.

While working on the screenplay of 'TFWG: Kenny Rocks The House', I interviewed many contributors past and present to get the full lowdown on our friend Kenny and what makes him tick.

Our friend Kenny and what makes him tick is something none of us can really ever truly understand because Kenny seems to function in his own little universe.
The interns send a courier with homemade goodies every Friday evening but sometimes they have to ring the bell several times before Kenny finally comes to the door to answer.

A visit from Santa Claus at the company Christmas party will no longer involve sitting on the big guys lap thanks to new policy guidelines from the HR Department that were enacted following a series of complaints received at last year's party.
At last year's party we had the list of needy children by name and age that band camp security had meticulously put together during the year for the hundreds of volunteers on the gift wrapping crew who brought lots and lots of pot luck dinner and snacks, and celebrated and had a ball admiring and "testing out" all of the great toys as we wrapped.
Admiring and "testing out" all of the great toys as we wrapped has always been the job of the Fun Department but I'm pretty sure I saw WMC sitting in the corner playing with all the Fidgit Spinners.
I just did not understand the appeal of a lot of things over the years such as virtual pets, mood rings, lava lamps, Cabbage Patch Dolls, and pet rocks.
