Fantastic word game

The internet, computers, websites and message boards didn't exist, but Illusions did, and now the Illusions Saturday Night Rock Fest can be seen online, and band campers are dancing the night away.

Band Campers are dancing the night away to The Greatest hits of all time with our 80 Rockfest from Illusions virtual streaming on TFWG Power World radio network.

The Greatest hits of all time with our 80 Rockfest from Illusions virtual streaming on TFWG Power World radio network will get your night rockin' until the cows come home.

Get your night rockin' until the cows come home as we all herd into Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits on Monday morning to welcome back Miss Silkie from her well deserved summer vacation.

Herd. Get it? Cows? Herd? See what I did there?

Miss Silkie, welcome back. Sooooooooo nice to see you! The lovely young library interns have done a fine job keeping things together in your absence with, of course, some assistance from myself and dmargalotti. I kept my eyes on them. In fact, I kept both eyes on them. :D

Her well deserved summer vacation comes at a time when we're making significant investment into upgrades and maintenance to the FWGU network infrastructure.

Distance learning is, and always has been, one of the cornerstones of FWG University Computer Services, now and heading into the 2020s. Each day, now more than ever, through our mainframes, networks and telecourses FWGCS reaches out across America, offering people in big cities and small towns alike, learning and technology services that would otherwise be unavailable. In our classrooms the curriculum is vast and the seating capacity unlimited.

By thew way, I've started programming a new automated adult-standards format which will be debuting on the KFWG multiplex during winter quarter 2020. I'm tentatively calling it "8VSB Only". Currently we have it planned as an auxiliary audio channel on the main programme stream (37-01), along with the KFWG/WFWG-FM simulcasts. We even managed to get Messrs Brand, Haden, Rollins and (the best for last) Watkins to voice a bunch of sounders for it! How we pulled that off is a topic for much much later.

The FWGU network infrastructure has apparently been taken over by this mysterious person named oldradiotapes.

scanman, please have your team check this guy out.

oldradiotapes, were you by any chance a former contributor named Darth_Vader?

If so, welcome back. If not, welcome. As you've already done very aptly, please start your contribution with the bolded ending clue from the previous contribution. Please bold your new ending contribution. Please use one sentence and one sentence only for your entire contribution. Dialogue separate from the game is usually italicized but you've used a smaller font to distinguish it and that is accepted as well.

PowerWorld LLC and the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I prefer) welcome you aboard. We've been here for 13+ years (I've been here since day 1) and we are on a continuous quest towards 10,000 pages.
Your TFWG Executive Board:
WMC2006: Game Czar
dmargalotti: International Director of Band Camp; Director of Early Morning Contributions
Miss Silkie (Silkie): Chief Mixologist; Head Librarian; Director of Fun; Owner/Manager of Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits
scanman1: Head Of Safety and Security (HOSS)

and the rest of the family: Tiger Cox, CTListener, ron, cotton belt

The Fantastic Word Game is a division of PowerWorld LLC which is owned and operated by the fine folks at RadioDiscussions.com and previously owned and operated by RadioInfo.com and Radio-Info.com. The defunct TFWG2 is intelligent property of RadioInsight.com. The following items are all intelligent property of Radio Discussions: the Fantastic Word Game, The Fantastic Word Game, tFWG, TFWG, the FWG, band camp, Illusions, the new Illusions, bottled water, the mechanical bull, 80s Rockfest, TPS Reports, topless driving, lovely young library interns, Quest to 10,000 Pages, Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits, and a couple other things I can't recall at the moment in time.

Once again, welcome aboard. We hope you enjoy a very long stay with us.

This mysterious person named oldradiotapes has actually been on-again-off-again on here a few different times for almost a couple of decades now.

@WMC2006--

I was put into stasis in 2016 because my ventillator malfunctioned and Chandril Tech took their time delivering parts for it. At least that's what I'm told. If one of my followers comes by give them the code phrase "the black dog runs at night" and they will reveal all. Well, I guess Bruce or Reno never got round to filing the TPS report on my behalf. Remind me to force-strangle them once I find out.

Now, time to slip the steel-toe Justins on, get into the KL10 and start pushing bits around. Will you please have Bev-pie deliver dinner to me in the zoology department computer lab? I shall be in 130/141 later repairing a fault in the breaker panel that's been the cause of ipus and guvax crasing so much lately and you're welcome to come by if you like.

For almost a couple of decades now, I've been a satisfied SiriusXM subscriber.

I've checked out our mystery contributor and concluded he's our old friend Darth. Welcome back bud!

The cable television industry has about a billion channels with about 95% of them airing various versions of Family Feud.

The worst of all scenarios while riding on a scooter is going through puddles and having mud and wet dirt thrown up on to the back of your pant legs.

The Edge of Night and As The World Turns were two of my great Grandmother's favorite soap operas in the 60's, and she would fight you to watch them if you were watching something else like Captain Kangaroo.

Showing my age...

A little off the top, the sides and pretty much my whole head (but not going full dmargalotti) and I felt like a pre-pandemic person again following my first haircut in 3 months in late May.

Thankfully, hair salons in Massachusetts were finally allowed to open, with restrictions, in late May. '

And, hey joebtsflk1, I loved the 70s Match Game with Gene Rayburn. I'd be perfectly happy seeing 24 hours of that versus Family Feud especially with Steve Harvey.

And, I kinda think you've been here before, joebtsflk1, but welcome anyway or welcome back because it's been a while if you've been here before.

My first haircut in 3 months in late May was a buzz cut, shortened to about a half of an inch, so I won't have to cut it again for another 3 months.

Great clue to get to use here, since it fits the actual scenario concerning my hair situation!
