Fantastic word game

"No soup for them" did not get much traction but "No soup for you" became a very popular catchphrase back in the 90s thanks to Seinfeld and the Soup Nazi, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Sadly, CT is correct regarding his usage of that colon. I may hate and detest it being there but the interns won't be cleaning up Game Czar exploding head for that one.

Before doing it myself, I'd call my brother, tell him a long sad story about how my back hurts or how I sprained my elbow or something like that, and get him to come over and do it for me instead.

Instead of laying a guilt trip on someone to get them to do the work the way CT does, I will usually watch a couple of You Tube videos first to see if the project looks like something I could handle.

Plus, I don't have a brother. CT, any chance I could call yours the next time I need some work done around the house?

Jack Nicholson took a SHINING to A FEW GOOD MEN from band camp by providing all of his CARNAL KNOWLEDGE of the acting profession .

See what I did there?

Well, it's Friday and a holiday weekend. And we have a big move-in for the campers this weekend. Everyone should have their assignments for whatever day or days you volunteered. I'll be at band camp all weekend. I expect to see all of you around campus. And join us for an extra special early evening 80s Rockfest at the new Illusions tomorrow night as we bring the campers in for some fun and frivolity. The regular 80s Rockfest will be held following that. And Denny's with kenny after that. Have a great weekend!!

Matters of key fobs not working were few and far between today as the great majority of band campers were able to move in without incident.

As I've made my rounds across the campus today, it was great to see everyone helping out including Miss Silkie, Sweetie Pie, Stuart, dmargalotti, CT, HOSS scanman and his crack security team, many of the lovely young library interns who weren't already assisting at the Tasty Tidbits, and even kenny made a rare special guest appearance before revving up the special early evening Rockfest. And even some former contributors came by including andreajesus, quadraphonic, raptusregalitur, and LARR. The lovely Anyacat has kept watch from the heavens. And I have it on not so good authority that rosecitymedia made a special appearance at his local band camp down there in the Tyler TX area. Darth and the boys in the IT Lab have kept things running smoothly behind the scenes. Great work, everyone!

Further problems were quickly resolved after sending one of the awesome ranch hands on a quick trip to the Gas and Supply for a couple of propane tank exchanges needed to continue the crawfish boil that I embarrassingly neglected to remember, as I've been completely focused on keeping the fire stoked on the smoker, and charcoal replenished in the pit, so that the tender, mouthwatering barbecue continues to come out to my extremely high standards.

On this particular subject, there are no illusions in the Rose City. Memorial Day get togethers are very real at the ranch, and I take great pride in our hosting of them each year. God bless our veterans, each and every one of you at TFWG, and this very much divided, yet still great country.

My extremely high standards for the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I and all Game Czars will forever prefer) will never waver no matter how many interlopers break in and try to change the system.

Change the system or leave it as it is, The Fantastic Word Game will continue to see contributions from the rose, because I enjoy playing the game as much as anyone else here, even with a self appointed leader who is unhappy with my participation.

I'm going to extend an olive branch towards you, WMC. You and I simply stay in our respective lanes, with no mentions of one another, no little shots taken at each other, we just play the game. We are not fans of one another, and everyone here knows it. However, both of us are grown men and can coexist within the game without letting our personalities clash, making for uncomfortable and unnecessary moments that no one really wants to see. Virtual fist bump? The ball is in your court.

Before a state of anomie is reached here, allow me to tell rosecity that I was not referring to him at all but was, in fact, referring to Stuart's good buddy, TheDude, because I thought it was time for some humorous anecdotes from him.

Stuart, I had to look up 'anomie'. Please don't make me do things like that on a long holiday weekend. :) But because you did that, I had to bring up your fascination with you know who. ;)

rosecity, as mentioned, I was not referring to you at all. Olive branch accepted and I extend one to you as well.

Meanwhile, all systems go and running smoothly at band camp. I'm happy to say I ran into a group of lovely young library interns who were delivering some goodies. Yummy!

Some humorous anecdotes from him, the great Jerry Clower makes for a very funny holiday picnic. 🌭

WMC, I am shocked that such a Rennaissance Man like yourself, a "man of tomorrow, living in a world of today" would not be familiar
with Robert Merton's "Theory of Anomie"
