Cleveland ROCKS, just ask Drew Carey or Ian Hunter.

(LVRJ, you essentially have multiple sentences: 'Cleveland Rocks' and 'just ask Drew Carey or Ian Hunter'. I'm sure you can find a better way to phrase your clues in the future. Thank you. :) )

Old and wise is how I like to think of all of us after spending two long and mostly fruitful years with all of you and, having said that, as I write this, it is December 3rd so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to everyone who has taken part in TFWG which has now lasted longer than many celebrity marriages and prime time television shows.

Prime time television shows seem to be less entertaining and more predictable the last few seasons, which is why this poster is spending less time watching television and more time posting on this board.

Ayyy carumba! I've seen worse in the New York Times. Strunk and White probably would let it slide. Sentence diagrams, anyone? Oh nooooo, flashback to sixth grade at St. Augustine school and Sister Maxima Poena. :D

Posting on this board, more specifically on this thread, opens the possibility of criticism from me.

(Mr Element, do we have a problem?? Hmmm?? )

Criticism from me is feared by all.

Yeah, WMC may have been a little quick on the draw there. Using a dash would've made the sentence completely acceptable ("Cleveland rocks--just ask..."), but I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch over a bit of Faulkneresque fluorish. :)

Oh, and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Eradicated from society by the grammar police and it's linguistic death squads, the few remaining members of the secret TFWG society of the future will be forced to take their witty word-play underground.

(Hmmmm. 60's, sixties. Someone slap Radknowski on the wrist please. ;) )

The mostly well-written 450+pages of our little game is the biggest thread in Radio-info history.

PowerWorld School of Hard Knocks and Opportunities is open to all who have scored at least 600 on their SAT's and have at least a rudimentary grasp of the King's English.

The King's English is now The Queen's English--although the gender of language never changes, the gender of the monarch does change.

Nowadays, people who have jobs already have a LOT to be thankful for...

For What It's Worth, For Your Love and For The Good Times are but three songs that immediately come to mind which begin with the word "for."
