Fantastic word game

A typical teenager is perhaps who Plate Blocker (who isn't new to this game) is because he didn't pay attention to the rules which were laid out for him in a detailed manner a little while back.

Plate Blocker, you are not new. I have given you the big welcome speech before. Not all that long ago actually. I told you that we require one sentence and one sentence only. You have blatantly ignored that rule. I must therefore administer the little known and rarely used punishment of 15 demerits. Once again, please use one sentence and one sentence only. You can clearly see that everyone else uses one sentence and one sentence only. Some of them may be very long sentences but they are single sentence contributions. Thank you very much for listening and understanding.

I will now publicly instruct the rest of the group that, should Plate Blocker continue to violate this rule, the next contributor is allowed to bypass Plate Blocker's ending clue completely and move us forward using best practices. Thank you.

A little while back the world was a simpler place, but that was mostly because society was often the distributor of consequences.

And sometimes, it was the quieter individuals within it who kept that up.

The Distributor of Consequences, if such an individual actually existed, would reassure Plate Blocker that the demerits that WMC, as Game Czar, and I, as Director of Linguistics, occasionally assess have no real-world significance.

During the early to mid 1980s, I was coming of age, attending high school and then college, working at my first real job (beyond a paper route from the ages of 10-16) and dreaming of how I could lead an internet word game even though nobody knew what an internet was.

Sooooooo, hey, the weekend is here and it's time for another great 80s (speaking of the 80s) Rockfest tomorrow night at the new Illusions. Come on down for some music, dancing, Denny's-sponsored mechanical bulling, drinking (adult and non-adult beverages), and eating (thanks to Miss Silkie and the interns). We are turning off the huge PowerWorld livestream for this one time only so we get as many people in person as possible. And, later on in the early Sunday hours, join us at Denny's as kenny cooks up some great stuff. Have a great weekend!!!

Nobody knew what an internet was back in the day so we just did what everyone else did which was actually talk to people face to face.

Face to face contributions with myself is how it's happening today because nobody else is playing the game this weekend.

The family business of certain Sicilian families was something they didn't want known to law enforcement authorities, so they called it Cosa Nostra, which translates to "Our Thing."

"The Addams Family" went on the air a couple of years before I was born with the series ending just a couple of months after my entry into the world.

Meaning today is your friendly Game Czar's birthday. Thank you, thank you very much. And special thanks to Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns for dropping by with some special goodies.

My entry into the world happened in 1964 and even though I was there, I have no memory of the event.

Happy Birthday to the greatest Game Czar we've ever had! I mean, sure he's the only Game Czar we've ever had, but he's still the greatest.

I have no memory of the event yesterday that everyone's talking about today because our tv doesn't currently get any of the OTA networks.

And I've been fine with that for a year.

Any of the OTA networks still in operation have a much smaller viewing audience than they did decades ago since most people today prefer to watch on-demand content on their laptops and mobile devices.
