The past couple of months here did not sit well with many fans of the game but we are sure that we are now on the right path to bring us forward with the next 49,579 contributions.
The previous 50,421 contributions have brought us to where we are today even though many of them occurred during three different installments of what we long-timers refer to as The Dark Years.
The Dark Years, to me, is a pretty hyperbolic way to describe barely over one year of whimsical, often absurdist posts featuring an alternative, rural theme, but if that makes you happy, so be it.
Jim Rockford's answering machine was one of the best parts of the show but we can't forget about that cool Camaro or that rundown trailer in the beach parking lot.
I think I'd like to try living in a trailer in a beach parking lot. I often wondered if any beach goers confused Jim's trailer for public changing rooms and bathrooms. Sadly, only Gretchen Corbett who played attorney Beth Davenport is the only main cast member still living.
CT, good thing you had that documentation because, otherwise, I never would have believed that I said what you said I said. I'm still shocked that I said what I said.
The beach parking lot at Paradise Cove in Malibu where Jim kept his trailer, is still frequently visited by fans of the show, but unless you get your parking ticket validated by having a meal at the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe, it will cost you $45 dollars to park for 4-hours Monday - Friday.
Also, it was a Pontiac Firebird Esprit. Not a Camaro.
These pages have, for a time, been filled with strange double entendre, a bit much for director of fun, who decided to bypass the discussions, given the whole animal theme, and the little munchkins at band camp.
Our dynamic band camp playgrounds are regularly patrolled by PowerWorld safety officers making sure the young campers aren't sticking their instruments where they don't belong.
