Fantastic word game

Andreajesus left us for a while but has recently come back to us on a parttime basis and Anyacat has sadly disappeared which leaves Silkie as the one and only fulltime, reliable, desirable, and long-sentence-writing female on the board.

Seriously, has ANYONE heard from Anyacat???

The one and only fulltime, reliable, desirable, and long-sentence writing female on the board is here even as I speak...

Speakeasys were clubs often found in backrooms, basements, and back alleys that sold alcohol illegally during the years of Prohibition (1920-1932) which is something I'm sure Silkie is quite familiar with because in order to become a fully certified Mixologist, you must successfully complete at least one 3-credit course on the history of booze in popular culture.

Mr Executive Director, haven't we discussed in the past something about keeping a clue as is and not creating a new word out of the clue? Hmmm? And didn't you agree with me that you didn't like seeing that happen either?? Hmmm???

You wouldn't want me blowing a gasket on the weekend now would you? Hmmm?

The moonshiners who started Nascar probably never envisioned that it would become such a popular activity that there would be loads of people who enjoy sitting at a hot race track watching cars drive in a circle for three hours.

Sitting at a hot race track watching cars drive in a circle for three hours is kind of anticlimactic after the spectacle that typically goes on during Race Weeks, and it takes a very special sort of individual to withstand it all.

"It all began at a 500 watt AM radio station" is how the character of Ted Baxter would describe the start of his broadcasting career and even though he and I had a similar start in the business, thankfully our careers have taken different paths.

I wouldn't take too much issue with me there big guy. At least I've been pulling my weight around here unlike SOME PEOPLE whose screen name begins with a W and ends with an MC2006.

They don't always see that I am the guy keeping this joint together and in business and that I very much do pull my weight around here, both online and behind the scenes, mornings before work, late-night after work (as I'm nowhere near a computer during the day), and most especially all weekend long when I'm pretty much the only regular poster of record.

Sometimes, it's just Silkie and I keeping the weekend crew busy. Just because 5pm Friday hits, that doesn't mean your job is over until Monday. This is a 24/7/365 operation, Mr Executive Director. If you aren't in the office, you best be out at one of the woodsy satellite locations helping out the little bandcampers.

I'm pretty much the only regular poster of record is an insult to all the unrecorded posters.

Please don't ask me to explain what that means...I was just kind of caught up in the moment and it sounded good in my own mind.

Unrecorded posters are certainly welcome to TFWG as there is lots that they can be doing to help the cause and I'm sure dmargalotti can find something for them to do.

Welcome to TFWG Weekends, sir. Please meet Saturday. If you look around, you'll probably find your mixologist hard at work in the Arts & Crafts Center. She could probably use you on garbage duty but I won't speak for her.

I'm sure dmargalotti can find something for them to do, as always, because he keeps plenty busy at band camp with executive duties, etc., while Silkie and her sweetie pie take care of the garbage duties during the week.

Hey, no prob on the trash detail. We have it covered; all taken care of as of the minute it needs taken care of. Never fear, we are here.

To begin with, I thought I was your sweetie pie rather than this mystery person of whom you speak.

Might be time to investigate the attendance and payroll roster.

Kind of stilted is your sentence because I think you might be missing a word or two but I'm just not sure.

I'm just not sure of what the heck WMC is talking about, but I like the way he talks about it... :)

It sure is nice to see you back here, andrea, and I'm very happy that you're spending part of your weekend with me.

By the way, I had my people contact Anyacat's people who contacted Anyacat and Anyacat told her people who told my people who told me that Anyacat will be returning to us soon which is certainly good news.

With me at the front, the Rolling Stones might coulda made something of themselves as a rock band.

A rock band with me at the front would be even better...

(thanks, WMC - I'm glad to be spending a part of my weekend with you as well... :))
