The moonshiners who started Nascar probably never envisioned that it would become such a popular activity that there would be loads of people who enjoy sitting at a hot race track watching cars drive in a circle for three hours.
Sitting at a hot race track watching cars drive in a circle for three hours is kind of anticlimactic after the spectacle that typically goes on during Race Weeks, and it takes a very special sort of individual to withstand it all.
"It all began at a 500 watt AM radio station" is how the character of Ted Baxter would describe the start of his broadcasting career and even though he and I had a similar start in the business, thankfully our careers have taken different paths.

Sometimes, it's just Silkie and I keeping the weekend crew busy. Just because 5pm Friday hits, that doesn't mean your job is over until Monday. This is a 24/7/365 operation, Mr Executive Director. If you aren't in the office, you best be out at one of the woodsy satellite locations helping out the little bandcampers.

Unrecorded posters are certainly welcome to TFWG as there is lots that they can be doing to help the cause and I'm sure dmargalotti can find something for them to do.

I'm sure dmargalotti can find something for them to do, as always, because he keeps plenty busy at band camp with executive duties, etc., while Silkie and her sweetie pie take care of the garbage duties during the week.

During the week, the crowd is somewhat different than the weekends, but they are just as dedicated nonetheless, unless they're just lazy and shiftless to begin with.
Of whom you speak at the TFWG Orientation is important, because we all like to know what names other peops can drop, though the phrase does kind of stilted.
