Fantastic word game

Our favorite band camp instructor, Olivia Newton-John, occasionally gives very well-attended lessons on how to slip into a skintight black outfit and highheels.

PowerWorld U calls the class "Slippery Grease" and doesn't list the instructor and it's not held every semester but people hear about it and the first 250 sign-ups are always the luckiest.

And, I did notice that Silkie forgot the word the but I didn't feel the need, this time, to berate her as, much like her previous snafu, it didn't really change the meaning of anything. However, Miss Silkie, if I get another call from the PW Board of Governors, there'll be a meeting. ;)

Exclusive offers and special travel discounts are available to all TFWG members so be sure to check for great deals on hotels, flights, and car rentals before you book your next vacation.

I understand our own WMC took advantage of the savings and found a terrific deal on a wonderful little hotel in South Florida. Isn't that right, WMC?

Before you book your next vacation it is always advisable to check and see if there is any political or social unrest in the country you wish to visit as it is a real downer to arrive in a country after a long flight only to be met with rioting, random gunfire and total chaos.

Doesn't hurt to check the extended weather forecast for your destination either.

Rioting, random gunfire and total chaos has often met foreign exchange students arriving home in Russia, so while they are at band camp we teach them to open bank accounts in order that they can wire the money home, provided of course, that they have not spent it all on such a good time at band camp.

It never hurts to check the weather forecast; just be sure that you have a qualified weather reporter, and not some yahoo who wants to divert you.

Such a good time at band camp in the early days is what led PowerWorld to sanction band camp locations across the globe.

Yes, I took advantage of those special savings and discounts. Unfortunately, I believe that day the travel office was staffed by my illegal immigrant farming workers and there MAY have been a language barrier or two.

Band camp locations across the globe are committed to fostering peace, acceptance, and understanding through the promotion and education of music which is the one true universal language capable of uniting all people from around the world.

I took that directly from one of our band camp brochures.

Uniting all people from around the world, our own Anyacat has will be offering topless driving lessons at all band camp locations beginning with those she comes across during this summer's Anyacat's Route 66 Topless Journey.

Speaking of our lovely kitty, I noticed she hasn't been spending much time here. We all need to get away from our farms and get back to basics here.

Anyacat's Route 66 Topless Journey is taking more time than anticipated to plan.

(Me? Me? Am I the one who mortgaged the farm for some of those nifty Farmville decorations?)

Via satellite won't be quite as much fun but as long as Olivia is there in some way the minions will be happy.

No, Cat, didn't mortgage the farm. The island, maybe, but not the farm.

And, sadly, it's overcast and dreary here on my last day in southern Florida. I had a few TFWG pamphlets left to shove into the hands of the rollerbladers but they got blown away (the pamphlets, not the rollerbladers) by a large gust of wind. Perhaps the spring breakers will find them this coming week. So, tomorrow morning, I leave semi-adequate weather to head home for less than adequate weather and the only good thought I have about that is at least we haven't had to endure massive earthquakes and possible tsunamis as our brothers and sisters around the world have and I'm glad we never got around to establishing band camp locations there.

The minions will be happy so long as they have clarified for them that they are considered favored ones and not servile ones.

I will be happy when I can keep this stinking wrist splint off, instead of keeping the wrist immobile. There are drinks to mix and books to take care of.

They are considered favored ones and not servile ones is a sentence unto itself and I have nothing much to add to it other than to say that I have the pleasure of providing this morning's early contribution.

Dmargalotti, take the morning off. ;)

Chile certainly has a number of issues following the earthquake which caused a tsunami which, fortunately, did relatively little damage as it raced around the world.

I'm home and I certainly expected to find more than just one contribution since my own early this morning. When I told dmargalotti to take the morning off, I didn't expect everyone to take the entire day off. :D

It raced around the world as a pebble in the pond ripple more than a quake wake, which is more like something we would have expected from an 8.8 earthquake.

WMC, this thread does not really get much action since we made it to Page 1000. But I shall take the ****-up brace off the wrist for a time since typing is not something that will aggravate the strain of installing a ceiling fan and shelves.

From an 8.8 earthquake to earthquakes in the mid-west we are to deduce that the end is neigh.

(To WMC: I've had vacations like that, although I always manage to extract a perfect vacation moment wherever I go. You need a single's cruise with hot babes and cool tropical drinks.)

The end is neigh, was Mr. Ed's lament when Wilbur laid down the law about talking to Mr. Addison.

Another great ride, babe.

Talking to Mr. Addison, who is a long time member of the TFWG Fan Club, he is fully expecting to rent out his front lawn to bystanders this summer because of its proximity to Route 66.
