Recent steroid controversies would not have been so controversial if some people would just do more reps and spend their time more productively in the gym.
I still haven't gone through all the pages, but I did notice a little brouhaha/tiffspat over the 'the' used as an article when there's also a T for "the" in "TFWG". Some people think it's redundant, and they go along with it. Then, some people have gone so far as to quit the whole game in a fiery show of personal force over their interpretations of the matter, and others. Good riddance to the inflexible.
Me, personally, I think it just sounds better to call it "the TFWG" because "TFWG" used as a collective noun just seems to need an article. Kind of like saying "the NCAA..." or "the BP...." I also tend to stick extra "thes" into other literary situations where an article makes a descriptive more definitive, where using an article makes things like "the TFWG" stand out better than plain ol' "TFWG."
I mean, when I see the old-style TFWG letter jackets hanging on the wall in the soda shop, it makes me proud to see "TFWG" and I just don't feel like "FWG" would have the same pull. I know the ladies dig it, too when you say "the TFWG" as opposed to just plain ol "TFWG."
