Fantastic word game

Recent steroid controversies would not have been so controversial if some people would just do more reps and spend their time more productively in the gym.

I still haven't gone through all the pages, but I did notice a little brouhaha/tiffspat over the 'the' used as an article when there's also a T for "the" in "TFWG". Some people think it's redundant, and they go along with it. Then, some people have gone so far as to quit the whole game in a fiery show of personal force over their interpretations of the matter, and others. Good riddance to the inflexible.
Me, personally, I think it just sounds better to call it "the TFWG" because "TFWG" used as a collective noun just seems to need an article. Kind of like saying "the NCAA..." or "the BP...." I also tend to stick extra "thes" into other literary situations where an article makes a descriptive more definitive, where using an article makes things like "the TFWG" stand out better than plain ol' "TFWG."
I mean, when I see the old-style TFWG letter jackets hanging on the wall in the soda shop, it makes me proud to see "TFWG" and I just don't feel like "FWG" would have the same pull. I know the ladies dig it, too when you say "the TFWG" as opposed to just plain ol "TFWG."

The snack bar was all abuzz recently over our 'the TFWG' flap and so I'm happy that quadraphonic has explained it thoroughly for Divine Dave and raptus.

Is it any wonder that quad is our TPS Czar. ;)

For Divine Dave and raptus, the issue has passed and we've moved on but obviously WMC is hung up on the issue because he can't seem to let it go.

FYI, this whole Divine Dave thing has always rubbed me the wrong way. Personally I'd prefer to be addressed by my title, Mr. Band Camp Executive Director.

He can't seem to let it go, so, he travels around with a chip on his shoulder and a scowl on his face.

(Sorry, Dave, won't do it again--but how do you feel about Rave Dave?)

Face of the Jesus the sightings often the occur in the potato chips, tree the trunks, windowpanes, the oil the slicks, and the sides the of the barns the.

I the like this new system the where the we can the add definite articles the willy-nilly. Makes the TFWG really pop off the the page.

But the I draw the line at indefinite the articles. That the would just the be the silly.

The Department of Redundancy Department also manages the chronicling of all those cute little calls from the no life who has no life, calling the same number time after time, reduntantly coming up with new excuses, and laughs sooooo hard, because it's just soooooo funny to have missed by one number.

To have missed by one number in the PowerWorld University Fraternity Lottery would suck because the losers end up spending the semester in a smaller building on the outskirts of town.

The outskirts of town held a dark, nasty little secret known only to those who threw number missers into the compost bin with the padlocked lid.

Dancing and romancing are two very pleasant activities, and I have a feeling that come Sunday the dancing and romancing will be between dad and lots and lots of sports, while we cater a huge band camp Father's Day fete.

A huge band camp Father's Day fete will be crowded as usual and one topic of conversation is sure to be why Anyacat beat Mr. International Band Camp Director to this morning's first early morning post.

I'm certainly shocked. ;D

Anyacat beat Mr. International Band Camp Director to this morning's first early morning post because I have had a slight shift in my daily routine so my early morning contributions are coming a little bit later but overall my contributions to TFWG remain consistent and plentiful.

Consistent and plentiful, the mellow but rocking sounds of Olivia Newton John's mellifluous voice will echo through the summer.

What's with all those clue errors? ??? Where's the Clue Patrol? The archives will be besmirched and marred.

Echo through the summer
do the sounds of bees and crickets
and the lawn mower brigade,
which is a sometime bummer.

(I couldn't sleep, ergo, I was up at at it on Frontierville)
