Fantastic word game

The Odd Couple was also comprised of Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, and while it is a stretch to say that Jack Klugman was a role reversal for Jack Lemmon, I say what the heck, because it gets us closer to at least Page 2,000, which we might make by the end of the year if we apply ourselves and post diligently.

Post diligently and remember to follow the few simple rules that are required of every contributor to TFWG and now that we have that friendly reminder out of the way, I think we should all go back to talking about great TV shows from the 70's and 80's.

Great TV shows from the 70's and 80's were plentiful in the form of sitcoms, crime dramas, plain old dramas and funny soap operas, with screenplays, producers and directors courtesy of seasoned, real writers, producers and directors.

Seasoned, real writers, producers and directors would probably be in great demand today in Hollywood if any of them actually existed but sadly they seem to have gone the way of the dinosaurs, phone booths, and 8-track tapes.

Dinosaurs, phone booths, and 8-track tapes as well as any sense of decency, dignity or shame seem to have been relegated to another time, although when it comes to public shame I have seen cases in which it works, although they be few and far between.

Few and far between are the people who get that being on a reality TV show is not something to be desired because even though times have changed, people still look down on those who air their dirty laundry in public.

Those who air their dirty laundry in public came to us for the very first time via The Real World on MTV which debuted in 1992 and is currently casting for the next season to be filmed in Boston.

Wikipedia says the current season is season 26 in San Diego. I think I last watched it in Season 3. ::)

Filmed in Boston were many outdoor scenes on Cheers, Boston Legal, and Boston Commons, but the indoor scenes were filmed in Hollywood.

There actually is a Cheers in Boston, as seen at the opening of the show, my parents went there a decade or so ago and told me that the inside is very similar to the set.

35 years of age is a requirement for being president, but unfortunately, not for being considered a star, because America is more desperate for stars than they are for presidents.

Presidents Of The United States Of America is a popular alternative act from the mid-90's whose best-known songs include "Lump," "Kitty" and "Peaches."

Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof is the daughter of Bob Geldof whom you may remember for his hit with the Boomtown Rats, "I Don't Like Mondays" which topped the music charts in the summer of 1979.

In the summer of 79, I was 13 years old without a care in the world unlike right now because I gotta head to work so I wish you all a very happy and productive day.

Important things must be on everyone's agenda today because I've been patiently waiting for several hours for someone to make a contribution to my last post but since that hasn't happened I've decided to reply myself which is only allowed after a prolonged period of inactivity according to the official game rules.

According to the official game rules, which may or may not be the same as Roberts Rules of Order, order may be subjectively interpreted, especially when we have the place all to ourselves for a ladies' get together with a couple of bottles of wine, for a crochet bee.

In the FWG bookstore this afternoon, I noticed that the lovely library interns were assisting the regular employees with an usually large delivery which made me wonder who was assisting Miss Silkie back at the library.

Sweetie Pie did a fine fine job assisting Miss Silkie although I must say he did not look nearly as good as they do in their little mini skirts and high heels.

He tried, though, and that's all we can ask. :D
