Fantastic word game

Ever concerned about being inspiring rather than just promoting media whores, we should mention Olivia frequently, and Lady Gaga only when necessary, but...if you want to change up the focus a bit DtotheJ we could consider raising the online status of Megan McCormick from "Globe Trekker," unless she's dead, which I have no idea, and then making posts about her might seem kind of weird

Gratuitous ellipses thrown in after the sentence was typed for the sake of WMC. :D

"Show me the money" is a popular catchphrase inspired by the film "Jerry Maguire," which starred Tom Cruise.

Ricky Business brought the song "Old Time Rock N' Roll" by Bob Segar back into rotation at that time.

I thought it was Andreajesus that liked to use ellipsis on her post.

Risky Business would have been better if Megan McCormick was in it.

Had to go there. "Great minds" dmarg, and all that.

Daggone. kenrayc beat me, and in the afternoon nonetheless! Hey kenrayc!
At that time when Risky Business came out, though, I think Megan McCormick might have been too young.

Megan McCormick might have been too youngto have a leading role in Risky Business because she was about 10 years old when the movie was made in 1983 so maybe she could have played the part of Tom's kid sister or something.

Something tells me that with our artificially inflated numbers and all, we could have our very own words version of a derivatives market, and to think FWG 2000 by the end of the year is a possibility.

Thanks quad. There'll be a little special something for ya with my TPS Report this week. :D And, Kenny, you're right, by gosh, it WAS andrea and the ellipses. Maybe Andrea will come out of the woodwork now that we've mentioned her name. ;D

FWG 2000 by the end of the year is a possibility but, as I posted a few days ago, I had guesstimated November 18th as a possibility based on 2 pages of contributions per day.

But, at this point, we'd need 4.6 pages of contributions per day to make the Nov 18th goal so that one isn't looking very realistic. But you never know.

2 pages of contributions per day may be hard to attain if we have another system crash like the one we had at the University yesterday, but hopefully it won't happen again.

[size=8pt]Yesterday we were moving the main equipment out of room 660 in the Zoology Department to our newly-expanded computer centre, in the space vacated by the mythology classroom next door (room 130). Took out the folding divider wall...*snort* gotta love the folding divider walls! ;o) Robin left a spare KL10 runing as a backup system at wgzoo whilst we were moving the main systems to the computer centre, but its power supply somehow went bang. Sorry if you were trying to get on at the time. If you were at Powerworld, you weren't affected because they're on a different node altogether!

WGUCS should, by now, be completely consolidated to 130/141 and adjoining areas and be functional to-morrow sometime. We're now running the VAX, the main KA10 and its magtape reader over there, and there's a new drum printer as well (thanks Deek.) So although it's still wgzoo, Zoology Computer Services is no longer involved in the operation or maintenence of the systems. Figures.

That heavy burden you hear about the Red Sox tanking this past September and missing the playoffs is the fact that, overall, they don't suck more than the Mets.

More than the Mets would like to admit, the Red Sox are a better team but then again so is every other team that plays organized baseball even on the minor league level.

The minor league level is pretty much at street level and park level this weekend, but fortunately for us band campers, industrious souls that they are, have shown up in droves to volunteer time for some experience while working their part time library and lounge positions.

Bless their little hearts; they brought nose pin clothespins, gas masks and hazmat suits just in case.

Library and lounge positions for the Christmas season will need to be filled by the end of the month so if you would like to be considered and haven't already done so, please complete an online job application.

An online job application may be printed out and submitted to FWG personnel, but we request that personal information not be placed on the online application until Darth_vader has perfected the Internet version of The Cone of Silence.

Doggone it, quad.

Megan McCormick or Olivia Newton-John are generally considered inspirational around here.
