Fantastic word game

Base runners need alot of speed, or poor defense from the opposing team, to reach third base in the game of baseball.



("Baseball been veddy veddy good to me" is not an acceptable answer. :D )
 
Everything is great about the Red Sox except for JD Drew, Eric Gagne (gone, thank God), and that big overpaid lazy baby named Manny Ramirez.


(And I'm a Red Sox fan. :) And for anyone new to the game, the full ending clue is Manny Ramirez.)
 
Manny Ramirez found that baseball has been very, very good to him but will baseball be velly, velly good to Kosuke Fukudome
 
Kosuke Fukudome is a name that needs to be pronounced very carefully by baseball's announcers including those of the Chicago Cubs.
 
Chicago Cubs sell more seats during a losing season than the Chicago White Sox do during a winning season.

Numbers, from 10 to 1, will be counted down later tonite as we celebrate the new year.
