Albert Camus was a French author and philosopher often associated with existentialism even though he himself claimed that his whole life was devoted to opposing the philosophy of nihilism.
 
Nihilism argues that being, especially past and current human existence, is without objective meaning, purpose, comprehensible truth, or essential value--now isn't that depressing.
 
Beholder (unbeknownst to me until I found their Myspace page) is a Rock/Metal band who by their own admission is the UK's number one multi tribute to all things metal.
 
Wednesdays at my house is devoted to ghost hunting plumbers on the Science Fiction channel, now that's entertainment.
