Fantastic word game

1812 Overture, played by many an orchestra during Fourth of July celebrations, is a work by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

Oral Roberts divorced his wife and asked his attorney to divide his belongings between he and his ex, but the attorney typo'd her list which read Oral sex. ;D

dmargalotti said:
Oral Sex being typed instead of Orals Ex is simply a case of a misplaced consonant.

(Gee, I was hoping that clue would go elsewhere but you wiggled your way out. You faked it. :p )

Consonant and vowel insertions into puzzles is the career lifeblood of Wheel of Fortune hostesss Vanna White.

The Price Is Right, the longest-lasting daytime television game show, has had two hosts in Bob Barker and Drew Carey; three permanent announcers in Johnny Olsen, Rod Roddy, and Rich Fields; and countless models including, from the Bob Barker days, Janice Pennington, Holly Hallstrom, and Dian Parkinson.

(Note the full clue is "Janice Pennington, Holly Hallstrom, and Dian Parkinson". I'm fully certain even those of you with less than stellar research capabilities can come up with a more than stellar new clue if you know the history of the TPIR models. ;D )

Janice Pennington, Holly Hallstrom, and Dian Parkinson filed lawsuits against Bob Barker for verbal and sexual harassment, one of them was fired for having gained weight

(WMC...Don't forget about Mark Goodson & Bill Todsen ;D )

(Stuart, nice job on follow-thru. ;D And, its Bill Todman, not Todsen. And...what about them?? Todman died a few years ago.)

Weight control is a big issue (no pun intended) for any female in the television or movie industries but not so much for their male counterparts.

Rush Limbaugh has a nationally syndicated radio show as does Don Imus, John Tesh, Delilah, Dr. Joy Browne, Bill O'Reilly, and Dr. Laura.

(Now go take on the day. :D )

Dr. Laura is one of those phony self-help gurus who make their fortune by giving advice to the terminally confused.

Confused and dazed by the continuation of this thread, I have decided to back off my previous wooing of the lovely Miss Anyacat and will now commence wooing the personable and lovely dmargalotti.

(Kidding. Just kidding. :p )
