Fantastic word game

The birds and the bees were taught my mom at an early age, but we learned just a little bit more later on from D.H. Lawrence.

D.H. Lawrence is said to have enjoyed three things: naked women, band camp, and bagpipes; sometimes all at the same time.

Movement through space, at least in the context of a football field or a back seat or a blanket over by the lake, are [edit: is] a lot of the draw for most kids at band camp.

Band camp emergencies are described in the Band Camp Manual handed out at Orientation, and deal specifically with needs for medical assistance, not just for when you're feeling a little blue or you got dumped by your tuba-playing significant other.

Your tuba-playing significant other will not be found in the band camp official bag pipe band.

Underwear will help keep you warm on those cold frigid mornings during the annual mid-winter Holiday Band Camp.

Too lazy to erase this...
Bag pipe band is an elective for anyone, but Marching Band majors are expected to stick to the course recommended by The Band Camp Dean.

Time of year usually refers to seasons such as summer, which is the season of the rock 'em, sock 'em, blockbuster movie.

(I have seen Star Trek, the prequel: It is loud, it has many explosions; the CGI could have been better, but my vertigo did kick in twice; Spock is, as always, wonderful: new Spock and old Spock--his story is, as always, the most complex and best BUT his mom could not have died as she did in the movie because she is in the series. Jim Kirk is a jerk, no matter who plays him, but all the actors are faithful to their characters--Damn it, Jim, I'm a doctor not a mathematician!)

Woo-Hoo! With WMC gone I'm using a semicolon and an ellipsis! All the safeties are off baby!

;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

Well well well!! I see we didn't waste any time defecating on the rules, did we Mr Linguistics Czar. Hmmm?? ;)

I see that only about 6 pages of posts were made during my absence. That is disturbing. I expected a whole lot more. We need to start a new marketing campaign.

I have returned home nicely tanned. I did not sun my buns. The white parts are still white. ;D

Quad is still in charge for the rest of the day and night. And by the way, a week from tomorrow, I go away again for a week but this time for business. So quad, if he isn't away himself, will once again be waving his manly sword for that week.

I missed all of you very much but some of you more than others. ;D :D

Contributions of any kind from Anycat are terrific but I sure wish I could see more contributions from andreajesus.

And she'd probably also like to check me for tanlines. ::)

Contributions from andreajesus are few and far between, which only makes them sweeter and more worthy of a Band Camp Bag Pipe overture.

(Tips for a nothing afternoon: I set aside everything I planned to do and settled in with Star Trek the original series. I made it through eight episodes (50 minutes each) when I needed a break. And I did not remember that Checkov came much later, and that he, Ohuru and Sulu were not early regulars. But what the movie reminded me of was that Ohuru had a yen for Spock, at least in the first few episodes. The repackaged series has been remastered with some GCI oomph, which really is not needed and I had forgotten how cheesy those early costumes were and how Spock's eyebrows became less pronounced, which was a good move.)
