Fantastic word game

Never vacationed in Spain where the rain falls mainly on the plain.

Hey, that was the best I could come up with given the fragment I had to start with. By the way, Merry 10th Day of Christmas.

The plain old classic rock station, 95.7 the Fox, that has been here for 20 years still plays the same 200 songs they played in 1990.

We have a newer Classic rock station,105.1 THE BLAZE, that is much better and has a lot more 80s music, and is gaining ground on the ratings of the FOX.

Second grade for me was in 1969, when the City of Clovis only had 5 Elementary schools and one High school.

Clovis now has 5 High schools with a 6th being built, 5 JR highs, and about 25 Elementary schools.

Sick loved ones whom we don't get to see very often generally look the worse for wear because we haven't seen them very recently.

Welcome to the first full week of posting for 2010. Looks like we had a good start right off with 3-4 pages. Nice job everyone.

Marc, welcome back. I won't say I told you so. ;) However, double TPS reports for you. Quad will be expecting them.

Basnya and Ken, nice to see you semi-regulars doing some regular posting today.

And nice to see all the regulars out in full force today.

Except that darned andrea. Where the heck is andrea?? Triple TPS reports for her when she gets back!!

Very recently I spent way too much time with way too much family, which makes me envy orphans or Wasps with their small families who don't feel the need to shout during every meal.

(Travel Tip: Nifty Ed Hardy canvas shoes may look snazzy but they aren't as good as winter boots when it comes to walking down ice floe driveways. By the way, some thoughtless valet scrapped the side of my adorable creamy mellow yellow, in perfect condition, car. I am told this can be rubbed out. I certainly know who I would rub out if I could. :-\)

Unless it's the Mafia, I expect to have a lovely family getogether each holiday season.

I see Divine Dave and quad are in the office extra extra early this morning. I trust we're keeping up on Library Grand Re-opening festivities for the 21st? Hmm?

Each holiday season, Thanksgiving and Christmas in particluar, I look forward to the holiday and then am sad when it's over.

And I agree with "Divine Dave's" statement about a meal shared with a large Italian Family being an adventure from being invited to my friend Paul's cousin's birthday party. - I said it once and I'll say it again - NEVER TELL AN ITALIAN "I'M NOT HUNGRY". They won't believe it and feed you til you pop.

The replay button sounds more like the Dave Clark Five's Over and Over than Olivia Newton-John - or her lovin' man for that matter.

By the way, kudos to Iceland. Well done!

Iceland, exercises common sense most of the time, and we shall enjoy a spring picnic by the water in the Westfjord lush, soft, greenery.

Sometime in February the library will feature the first of the antique carousel horse exhibits.

Lush, soft greenery and the puff of a perfect 70 degree breeze pregnant with the scent of frangipani and hibiscus sounds good right about now.
